I was wondering if tracks were possible in BeamNG just the other day, looks like I got my answer. Looks great so far, keep it up.
Another thing I never knew I would want or felt I needed, until I saw it, that is... Awesome! Me like-y! Would a great mod... but will it stop... THE TRAIN!? (If you see youtube vids of games like this you'll know what I am taking a stab at). Will surely pick this up for a enjoyably destructive good time when it's done. --- Post updated --- Another thing I never knew I would want or felt I needed, until I saw it, that is... Awesome! Um. Any way to turn this thing? --- Post updated --- Ignore my idiotic post before. NIce job making it feel realistic. (great looking and feeling mod for only beta 1)
Oh boy oh boy oh boy! This thing is exciting to play with! Big, heavy, able to stop a Bolide moving 100km/h downhill... I especially like the functional straight-tilt blade. It must have added quite a bit of complexity to the mod, but being able to loosen stuck objects by tilting speeds up gameplay considerably! There are a few areas where the beta does need improvement though. This thing is very counterintuitive to drive compared to anything else in-game. I keep hitting the down key to slow down, forgetting that it now controls half the steering, and I find my fingers uselessly migrating back to the left and right keys. If the steering controls were re-assigned to a pair of keys next to each other, the dozer would be much easier to control. I also experienced the prop rocks clipping and getting stuck in the blade when being pushed over uneven ground, but I'm tempted to pin the blame on the rocks for this. They aren't exactly the best piece of official content. Still, I can live with that if it means there's a working bulldozer in BeamNG! You've exceeded every expectation I had for this mod.
Use normal brake and parking brake to lock tracks --- Post updated --- Thank you The steering will require some programming which i don't know but I think there may be other way to do it. And things stucking to other will need beam collision wich I don't know if devs plan to do.
