(you select the ocean in the level editor, then on the right side under the selector you should have tree areas with X Y and Z. what you wnat to change to change the water level is the Z value. 53.3 is for flooding Firwood a little bit. for example. About the rain you have to go into Library>Level>Environment>Precipitation. After you click on it will give you a box to name it and select the texture. then you can start playing with the values to change the amount of rain)
Made it back home, But my Pessima is definitely totaled from driving through all of that salt water. heck I couldn't even get it up the drive way so it's sitting helplessly half submerged on the street. Luckily my Roamer was okay so I swapped out the battery's so I can drive the roamer if necessary. Oh and would you look at that, I think the hurricane just hit...
*Hands the GPS to @brien_w and then drives off, back home before the storm lands* Ann: They are out cold. Really unconcious Me: After that crash, i would be impressed they walked from it. *As i pull into the driveway, i noticed the Roamer is gone* Me: Where is the truck? WHERE THE HELL IS THE TRUCK?!
"Evacu *crackle, static* ... "Mandatory evacuation?!? Why the hell didn't they call it earlier before there was 3 feet of water on the road? The Pessima would just float away and hydrolock, there's no way I could even get out of the driveway! At least the car's still dry, hopefully the water doesn't get much higher. I'm gonna have to stay here, there's nothing I can do!" "I wonder how @zestyfolfdude is doing, man, I haven't talked to him since our FBI days. Maybe he has some genius plan to get out?" I pick up my phone, and decide to try to give him a call despite my hunch that cell service is down.
Back inside i have barricaded the door “I wonder how others are doing” *sets up light out of window so those seeking shelter can come*
*I run inside, carrying elizabeth over my shouler* Me: Jimmy?! *I run to the Bathroom where i left him* Jimmy: Dad? Me: Oh hey son. *I drop Elizabeth in the bathroom, and i run outside to do the same with the step dad, this time Ann comes with me and stays in the bathroom* *After dropping the step dad in the bathroom i run outside once more, as i notice the storm start to clear up* Oh no. The eye of the storm. FUCKKKKKKKK *As i run inside the storm starts back up, even stronger than before* *As i get close to the bathroom, one on the windows break, sending pieces of the frame flying, one hitting me on the head, causing me to faint*
*turns the strong light on* “ why cant i do more, i cant go to firwood, nor can i communicate easily to those in firwood” “Wait, this probably wont work, but its worth a shot” Sends out text to all contacts: “if you can, go to my house, the red one on the hill, dont put yourself in danger to get here, and find shelter, but if you are close, i have a light aimed at the road, and its high up and safe from flooding
Okay, well I was able to drive my car for a bit further but now it seems to be rapidly failing. I'm locking the doors and closing the windows because I don't think my car is moving anywhere. Wind is blowing it and it may be floating because there is a lot of rocking going on.. --- Post updated --- Phone reception is out. The temperature is dropping in my car pretty fast. I might have some emergency supplies in the trunk. --- Post updated --- *I step out and pull the trunk of the ETK open. Rain is pouring all around me. I grab a blanket and get back in the car.* Maybe I should try removing the spark plugs, see if I can get the water out... *I remove the sparkplugs and watch as the car sputters the water out. I then put them back in, turn the key, and the car roars to life.* --- Post updated --- *I floor it and the car speeds up, water splashes everywhere.* --- Post updated --- I don't know where I am and it is pretty hard to see. I may have to camp inside the car for now. --- Post updated --- The gps I had has stopped working, no signal at all.
* As soon as the eye passes and the storm goes back into full motion, Part of my roof starts to fly off letting a bunch of water seep into my home with no where to go * Fuck! I need to leave now! * Wades though waist deep water and climbs into the roamer and starts to slowly drive away as Rain drops furiously pelt my car. * Where to go though... * Turns onto a random street * Oh no... I'm trapped...
Water is still rising. This thing is going to be totalled. And my Vendetta, which I dropped off at @jerrie's, according to my tracking app on my phone, is on low ground. The parking brake probably failed, and it is probably underwater. Water has filled the cabin, so I might have to get on the roof. Right now I'm draining the battery with the heater. I folded down the back seats, so that put them a bit above the water. I'm gonna sleep on them and my phone has an alarm set for one hour. Its low on batteries, but still has a bit of charge. --- Post updated --- So when this is all over I'm going to need a new car, which sucks. The ETK has a warrenty so maybe they can replace it, and I also have all my insurance. --- Post updated --- I'm keeping the hazards on so maybe someone will see me...
I've managed to get past all of the deep and dangerous flooded streets and headed out towards the country side where the ground is dry and there's a hotel there. * Sees @brien_w 's ETK floating around on the road with a person sitting on the roof * Yells out: " Hello? Do you need help? "
" Alrighty, Climb through the sunroof! then take this here chain, hook it up to your car, and put it in neutral with the handbrake off so I can pull you out. Okay? "
No sunroof in this thing, and the electrics are fried. Guess i'm smashing out the drivers side window... *I grab the headrest and smash the window* Okay, neutral, parking brake off, and i'm on the roof. --- Post updated --- Ahhh, this wind is strong! --- Post updated --- Alright @Tuner from America, hook it up.
Alright * Hooks the chain up on my end * " Ok Grab onto something so you don't fall off! " * Puts the roamer into Low range 4wd and slowly reverses out of the Flooded area * " Jeez man, your ETK is totaled. The storm is still going on do you need a ride somewhere? "
the wind is blowing even stronger. Im not sure we are going to make it. (Im still unconscious. Remember that your car has that Bumper to Bumper warranty. Take it to the dealer on a flatbed after we are done with the hurricane)
*Gets into the Barstow *Drives out of the suburban area (I'm going to void the stole doors from the ETK 800 and the Grey Roamer, cuz those car's doors are from @Srockzz *The wind is slowing the car down
