Just remove the model from the mod and make it a weird parts pack until you learn how to model properly tbh, it shouldn't be focused on the model. Stuff like ridiculous engines, big spoilers and 8x8 frame are better than a poor attempt at a sport facelift.
That is an awesome idea. I might have to scrap the 8x8 tires until I change the node names- when the wheels go on, it tries to attach to 2 different nodes with the same name. I also got to 611 mph using only engine power.
You can easily mass-change node names with Notepad++, the Replace button is under Search, I hope this helps
That is what I will do. I plan on doing it today, and I also plan on improving the thrusters because the current 'frame-mounted' thrusters I made lift the car off the ground and turn it into a derpy missile as soon as they turn on.
The same thing used to happen for me on the Bolide. It's a lot of trial and error to find the thrusters that don't lift the car but don't push it down too much either. For the Roamer and most other cars I used the same thrusters as the devs did for the Piccolina stress testing, you can still find them hidden in its Jbeam file. Or take a look in my mod and see how they are set up.
maybe instead of making configs that go one thousand miles an hour, you should focus on the important stuff, like your modeling and adding configs that go under 500 mph wait then why is it released but still under the tag of wip? also why is it released in the first place if the model itself and the textures arent done yet if this is your first mod then this is pretty good, most people dont feel like putting in the effort of making a whole vehicle
I also am trying to figure out 1. There are several configs that go under 500 mph 2. you just answered your own question
It is released because most of the parts are finished. The body looks like melted cheese that someone tried to make look like a car, but there are many useful things that people could use in their configs such as wider track width and 500 hp engines that aren't overkill. --- Post updated --- look again
I'm sorry but the configs should be the least of your worries right now. That stuff comes when you have the base stuff done, which you don't.
If you think that'll help you, go ahead. Making a vehicle isn't easy, especially not the first time, so a parts pack would be easier and maybe even more fun.
