Released RK's Highly Customizable Engine (Now V8!) 4.2.2

Change the ESC part to a “customizable ESC” and then in Vehicle Config -> Tuning, change the max RPM value.

 

@R4NKING Hey I’m having trouble getting the mod to work I have no other mods activated I’ve installed uninstalled reinstall deleted the mod so many times is the mod menu in the vehicle config or is it somewhere else because I can’t seem to get the mod to work

I’ve also tried unpacking too

What’s the fastest car with mods
When I say fast I mean 0-300mph in so many seconds as for an example

can you list the car and parts and settings please
I’ve tried the drag car but it’s a sports car I got it upto 270mph but it’s not quick

Hello, @R4NKING I was wondering if you had an idea of what settings or tuning, I have to do to reach 300 mph fast? I use the V16 engine and max out its parts. However, it doesn't reach 300 mph. Do you know what I'm doing wrong? like, any parts that have to be specific or tuning need to be done? If you can please reply, I'd really appreciate it man, thanskss!!

 

due to the great variety of engines this has to offer it might be best to set it up like how the classic engine expansion pack has it set up

 

What mod is that

 

for 300mph you need also a good car with good suspension and wheels. The scintilla should work decently, otherwise you can also add nitro or bigger boost maps you can trigger once you have speed

 

Hi there, first time posting here.

I just joined the BeamNG world and modding too. I've downloaded couple cars from the forum and with that I also installed your HighlyCustomizableEngines mod as well.
I've noticed that on some cars, including some (not all of them!) mod cars, your custom engine mod is not applying and therefore engines won't show up onto the Engine list.
I've already tried deleting the mod and reinstalling it but It didn't work.

I just wonder if it's the way it has to be or there is a work around solution for that, could you guys give me an opinion and if so, any tips for that?

Hey, did you check the licenseplate slot on those mod cars? Mod cars aren't really supported, but with the licenseplate design slot you sometimes can overwrite engines on mod cars. just keep the original engine of the mod car installed (best stock esc and no turbo) and try to overwrite it with the licenseplate design slot. But as i said, it doesn't work for every mod sadly

 

Unfortunately I have no idea of what to do with the license plate design slot, is there a tutorial around that I can read and have a try? Thank you

 

I just found this mod. Are the engine models rendered in the car. Right now I can only see the Rotary engine model, nothing else

 

I can't get the mod to work.

I put the mod in the mods folder and go to customize my engine, but nothing works.

Is there anything else im meant to do?

 

Yes, first you have to choose the RK mod in number plate design!

 

I've selected it in number plate design, but it still doesn't work.
I'm also getting this error, even after i reinstalled the mod

 

That may be caused because of the new update. I will look into it to fix it fast as possible

Edit: It seems to work fine for me, what did you do and when did the error came?

 

so many engines do you know what will be funny if you managed to add a 19L engine to the mod and there are flat-six and flat-four engines and boxer engines

In this video: BeamNG's Secret Engine Sounds! (youtube.com) Can you add the 1st diesel i6 sound? The sound used on the White D-series? (because the diesel i6 engine in the mod already uses the 2nd sound) It would be great for if you wanted to make your diesel i6 sound more like a bus engine.

would you mind adding a torque limiter for my proper popcorn limiter dreams

 

hey i've loved your mod for years. its all i use for all cars, i must admit ive swapped some engine sounds for better ones. Very rare to find tho... my current issue is that with the bx-series your engines shows up and the Ultra smth radiator does aswell. but not for the stock engine options. so atm my drag cars can only do 1 lap since they overheat at 4khp pretty hard. even tho ive selected all sorts of cooling related block/head related stuff.
