delete all addons except for the CRD_GraveDigger and CRD_AddonPack (both found in the first post) and redownload the mod.
if anyone was wondering how to make ramps and change the ground to a different surface, (for example grass to mud) here's a tutorial...press F11 while in the game to bring up the map editor and continue from there, I apologize for the low volume, it was loud in my room, I guess the speakers on my new soundbar are louder on my end than in the recording, will have to fine tune my audio settings
maybe after I beef up my computer I can add extra obstacles to MFSD, like motorhomes and cars, it's by far my favorite map so far but it just seems empty in some places, my videos are starting to get stale on my channel so I'm trying to switch it up, learn how to use the map editor so I can make custom tracks for my videos
Anyone know how to get the steering range on a wheel to be smaller? I feel like 900° is to much on a monster for lock to lock
That would be painfully low. Anyway, there: Code: "hydros":[ ["id1:","id2:"], {"beamSpring":20000000,"beamDamp":1000,"beamDeform":8500000,"beamStrength":"FLT_MAX"}, {"beamPrecompression":1.0}, {"breakGroup":"FLKN"}, ["FSLL1","FSL1",{"factor":0.22,"steeringWheelLock":450,"lockDegrees":25,"inRate":"$steeringrate_F","outRate":"$steeringrate_F"}], {"breakGroup":"FRKN"}, ["FSLR1","FSR1",{"factor":-0.22,"steeringWheelLock":450,"lockDegrees":25,"inRate":"$steeringrate_F","outRate":"$steeringrate_F"}], {"breakGroup":""}, ], By the way, suggestions are welcome. I can't say I like people tinkering with the archive, expecially if they don't know what they are doing and they may then come back to ask for help to fix what they shouldn't have broken in the first place.
It wouldnt be to low. What i used to use in rigs. Was about a full rotation and a half lock to lock. I tinker with with, but if i break it i just keep a default one. I made the driveshaft beam really week to simulate and axle breaking after a hard landing.
It's pretty weak already. Any weaker, and it would snap after most landings, not just hard ones. Most settings were chosen after gathering feedback from testers.
simple fix if people screw up something in the archive...delete it from your computer and redownload it, this comment shouldn't exist however I have seen people on other mod forums that ask stuff like this
It was set to like 65,000? It was super strong, 30,000 still holds really well, only super hard chassis landings will break it. Also, is it possible to put the brakes onto the axle? I know bigfoot has th brakes setup to the tire.
They are on the axles, in terms of dynamics. Code on the other hand must be part of the pressureWheel.
i see, BTW, i know digger is a beta, but does the hood cause a lot of trouble? 99% of time it will just destroy everything in front end by getting caught in it
Not much I can do about it. All panels destroy everything if they get caught in tires because of collision triangles. It's just that GD panels are so big and easy to stick in the driveline.
So... Next update (1.14) was planned for this week (tomorrow, actually), but I couldn't finalize a few things in time. With the Winter festivities just around the corner, I though I'd better postpone it to early next year. Next update will feature: - Fixes to all console errors reported by @synsol. - A couple bugfixes and improvements (I'm testing weakened driveshafts as suggested by @themightykasey for example). - Some new paint schemes for the trophy truck body. - The return of Steer Clear. I'm also trying to get proper methanol fuel simulation in game via LUA. When the next update goes live, it will probably come with the final version of the Grave Digger addon with its new Chevrolet engine and, possibly, the new golden Bigfoot paint scheme to be introduced next year, too. So... See you in a couple weeks!
Final version.... until another update breaks it. You already know it's going to happen, the Koala's will help with it.
