Not quite, This is the control arm and you can see where the strut attaches to. The actual strut they use doesn't have the mounting points of a MacPherson strut.

    Re: Reliant Robin

Here is an update, I have nearly finished the basic mesh of the body. I now need to add detail; headlights, taillights, gauges, ect.

yeah, it would be pretty cool, it just adds that little touch of extra fun just seeing a hubcap trundle past the window in the cabin view haha

    Re: Reliant Robin: updated 2/4/14

Currently the hubcaps are separated from the wheels, but I am planning to remake the wheels with better detail and the hubcaps will still be separate.

That isn't necessary right now since I still have so much to do, but maybe later on when it is more complete you are more than welcome to help me.

The scale wont be 100% accurate but I think it is pretty close since the covet is the size of a 3rd gen civic and comparing that to the passat in this picture, I feel like the scale is close 1:1. I don't have good blueprints to go by, so i'm basically going by reference photos only. Also thank you.

That isn't my idea, that was created by chris_lucas. His forum thread is here. I would advise you to pm him about the issue.

    I have a small update.

I modeled new wheels with better detail and different hubcaps.

I have also remade the rear axle with u-bolts to attach to the leafs, and I have also made a drive shaft.

Looking good! Is it possible in Beam.NG to simulate the fibreglass shell?
