Realistic Crashes (BeamNG)

Case: Loss of control, May 19, 2020

Crash Description: A young individual, who finally got the opportunity to take out the truck he worked on with his father over over the past couple of months, lost control entering a highway, going into a ditch, over a barrier, rolling, and ended up on the barrier, where his vehicle stopped. An older driver, a 62 year old man named Dave, was driving his recently restored Moonhawk, was not paying attention to surroundings, where he crashed into the truck, going under the car at one point. On the same road, a driver from the Firwood City Private Academy was entering Belasco city, when the driver fell asleep at the wheel, crashing into the Moonhawk and D15. Emergency services were notified of the accident when one occupant on the van called 911. Officer Ken arrived at the scene in a BCPD 4Runner, before Officer Phil arrived in one of the BCPD Grand Marshals, with an ambulance coming shortly after.

Injuries: The younger driver was severely injured on impact, and transported to the hospital. Dave was severely injured as well, and was also transported to the hospital. Out of the 12 occupants on the van, two had severe injuries, 3 had minor injuries, and 7 were uninjured somehow.

Aftermath: The young driver died in the hospital two days after the accident. Dave recovered from his injuries after three weeks, and later bought a new ETK 856. The injured van occupants all recovered within one week, and the van returned to Firwood City on May 26, after spending a week in Belasco City.

Case: A bus and a car collided on the Matrix Freeway, July 17, 2012, 11:44.

Description: The crash happened when the driver of the Lamborghini was looking for something in the passenger seat, was not paying attention to the road, hit the guardrail, his car went airborne, flew into the opposite lane and crashed into the bus.

Injuries: Bus driver died, 6 passenger injured, Lamborghini driver died.

Location: Matrix Freeway, USA.

Vehicles Involved: 2012 MAZ 203.065, 1982 Lamborghini Countach LP500 S.

Aftermath: The road was closed until the crashed vehicles were removed.

Case: Speeding results in driver losing control, July 8, 1992

Crash Description: A younger driver named Ken (18) recently bought an Ibishu Pessima, which was a prefacelift GTz, one of the rarest Pessima trims. Later, Ken was showing off his car to his friends, Gary (19), Paul (17), and Finn (15), going above the posted speed limit, when Ken nearly hit a wealthy businessman in a brand new Roamer, ending up swerving and crashing into the side of a stopped bus at high speed. One of the bus occupants had a mobile phone, and ended up calling emergency services.

Injuries: Ken and Gary died on impact. Paul and Finn were not wearing seatbelts, resulting in being severely injured, and were pronounced dead at the hospital. Out of the 15 passengers on the bus, 3 had severe injuries, 5 had minor injuries, and 7 were uninjured.

Aftermath: The parents of the four teens killed in the crash eventually tried to sue Ibishu for multiple different charges, but failed. After the accident, the bus was repaired, and back on the road after a couple of months. The bus was in service until 2014, when it caught fire in an empty parking lot due to a fuel leak. The Roamer driver, who witnessed the entire event, was shocked by the event, and was extremely grateful to not be involved in the accident, which the driver later said "was caused by an act of ignorant and unsafe driving with no regard to human life" when they were interviewed in 2000. The Pessima was crushed and sent to a scrapyard, and the Roamer eventually got bought by the BCPD, who still uses them to this day

Case: Loss of control, June 17, 1998

Crash Description: A driver named Adam (42) was leaving his work after a long day fell asleep at the wheel, sending his car into a tree around 50 MPH.

Injuries: Adam was severely injured, as his car was not equipped with airbags

Car Used: 1992 Cherrier Picnic (demo version)

Aftermath: Adam was found in his car two days later by a retired police officer, and was transported to an airport, and arrived in California, where he was transported to the nearest hospital. He recovered two weeks after the accident. The car was repaired, donated to Adam's son in 2003, and has been sitting in a barn from 2016 to 2019. The current status of this car was unknown, but residents have speculated it has been practically destroyed due to damage caused by rust. The car was found in 2019, restored to its former glory, and sits inside the Belasco Automotive Museum, where it remains to this day.

Case: Not paying attention leads to expensive crash, November 9, 2005

Crash Description: James, a 72 year old truck driver for a used car dealer in Firwood, recently picked up 3 cars, a Gavril Grand Marshal, a Gavril Roamer, and a Cherrier Picnic. On his way to the dealer, he focused more on getting paid, which caused him to crash into a bus preparing to turn out. The car carrier went off the road, into a tree, causing the cars on the flatbed to crash into each other. Emergency services were notified when they heard a call about an accident from a local who heard a loud crash seconds after the initial impact.

Injuries: James was severely injured, having ran into a bus and a tree going highway speeds. The bus driver, Alan, did not survive the crash. Everyone else on the bus had injuries, ranging from minor to severe injuries.

Aftermath: James was arrested for causing an accident involving death, an accident involving injury, and destruction of personal property. He will remain in prison for the rest of his life. A funeral was held for Alan on November 22. The T-Series was eventually repaired, and remains in the Firwood Used Cars fleet. The Grand Marshal was scrapped. The Roamer was repaired, and sold to a 45 year old man in 2006. The Picnic was sent back to France for repairs, and was used as a training car for upcoming rally drivers, including 6 time BRC Champion Brent Augette. The Wentward was repaired and retired, before being converted into a mobile home in 2015.

Case: Drunk driving leads to fatal crash, July 11, 2000

Crash Description: A drunk driver, who has been identified as a car thief, was heading over the speed limit on a rural stretch of highway, when he slammed into a van acting as a police barricade, pushing it into a civilian vehicle. The driver then threw the truck into reverse, crashing into both Grand Marshal police cars at the same roadblock, before crashing into the civilian vehicle. The car thief later lost control of his steering, sending his car down to an empty portion of the highway. Emergency units immediately responded to the 911 call for an injured officer.

Injuries: The car thief was severely injured when his truck flew off the highway. Both occupants inside the van were killed when it rolled off the highway. Both officers in the Grand Marshals had minor injuries. The civilian was uninjured, but shocked.

Aftermath: The car thief was later spotted escaping the scene on foot, and was later found, tased, and arrested for eight charges, including grand theft auto, causing an accident involving death, causing an accident involving serious injury, killing law enforcement officials, injuring law enforcement officials, endangering the public, and destruction of personal property. His sentence is 100 years long (for life) with no possibility of parole or being released early. His truck was eventually crushed. A funeral for the officers inside the van was held two days later, and the van was also crushed. Both Grand Marshals were repaired, and are still in service today. The citizen reported the entire event in excruciating detail when he was interviewed on July 15. His LeGran was also repaired, and still roams the highways of Nevada, Arizona, and California to this day.

Case: Car accident on an expressway bridge, March 25, 2020, 11:50.

Description: 8 car crashed on an expressway bridge.

Injuries: In the AMP, driver and 2 passenger died, in the 200BX, driver and 2 passenger died, in the Arrona, driver died and 2 passenger injured, in the Limousine, driver and 2 passenger died, in the Bolide, driver died, in the Moonhawk, in the FCV, driver and 2 passenger injured, in the Grand Marshal, driver and 2 passenger died.

Location: The Long Expressway Bridge One, USA.

Case: Speeding and losing control lead to pileup, May 9, 2015

Crash Description: A teenager, who had recently purchased an Ibishu Covet, was speeding on a mountain road, when he lost control and drove off the mountain, before rolling down to a nearby highway. A Sunburst driver was o\n their phone, and they looked up, seeing a flipped car. The Sunburst driver swerved, and hit the car. A truck driver, making a lane change, crashed into the wrecked cars, sending the flipped one flying down the road. The Sunburst driver called 911, and EMS arrived in less than 5 minutes. Police and DOT arrived shortly after.

Injuries: The teenager was killed when the truck hit the car. The truck driver has severe injuries. The Sunburst driver is uninjured

Aftermath: The BCPD heavily enforced speeding on mountain roads, which reduced the number of fatal wrecks. However, a fatal wreck involving a semi truck one week later caused the mountain road to be shut down.

Case: Stealing and reckless driving, 7/18/2010

Crash Description: A 1976 Ibishu Claria van with a teardrop trailer witch he was going to trade for an abandoned derby Claria for spare parts. When he got there the owner wasn't there so he called his friend to take the Claria and he would take the teardrop to his house. They drove away with the friend not knowing what is happening. the Claria stopped for his friend but the Brutto grander he was driving lost control and hit the Claria van. The owner of the Claria who was supposed to get the teardrop trailer but didn't so he chased after them and got into the pileup. The derby Claria rolled out of the trailer and into a highway. A semi-truck came and hit the derby car and a barrier which sent him on his side.
Injuries: The Claria was in a state of shock but no injuries, the friend in the Brutto died because he was shot out the front because he didn't ware his seatbelt, the soliad driver (owner) died shortly after and the semi driver got in a concussion.

Aftermath: The Claria van driver got a 5-year sentence in jail and the semi driver was ok but got his CDL revoked as he could have easily avoided the derby car.

Case: drunk driving and hard turn in fog, 7/1/2022 rush hour.

Crash Description: The owner of a 1989 Ibishu Kashira was drunk and driving and oversteered into some rocks when a 200bx notchback came and hit a tree. After a brand-new Civetta came fast up the straight toward but slowed down when he got closer. then a bunch of other cars came and crashed into them. but right before the cops came a brand new Hiroichi CCF with camo that no one has ever seen before crashed Stright into a tree.

Case: Speeding leads to massive pileup, August 12, 2021

Crash Description: Three brand new cars and one used car, including two supercars, one hot hatch, and one performance sedan were stolen from an Italian dealer early in the morning. The four individuals inside the cars then fled the scene, heading towards the autopista at high rates of speed. Meanwhile, an American box truck owner, assisting a citizen moving from city to city broke down on the scene, and was later hit by the green hatchback at a high rate of speed, before a purple supercar crashed into it, and then a grey supercar crashed into them. The box truck driver fled the scene, terrified out of his mind. Suddenly, another box truck arrived, smashing through every crashed car. The sports sedan was arriving to the crash at a high rate of speed, where it ran into the other vehicles. Police and EMS responded after the sports sedan crashed.

Injuries: The thieves who stole the purple and grey supercars were dead. The thief who stole the yellow sports sedan was severely injured, and pronounced dead at the hospital. The thief who stole the green hot hatch was also pronounced dead at the hospital. Both box truck drivers had minor injuries. The passenger in the box truck that fled also had minor injuries.

Total Damage: $440,000 (plus $10,000 extra for repairing the trucks and guardrails)

Aftermath: All of the stolen cars were crushed later that day. Funerals were held for all four car thieves, though nobody attended 3 out of 4 funerals. An investigation took place, and it was originally determined the box truck was at fault, but the driver had a rear facing dash cam, showing the green hatch speeding. No charges were faced on either party, since the person who was at fault was dead. The dealer eventually ordered three more new cars, and someone sold a Sunburst to the same dealer. The new stock at the dealer is heavily monitored by officials, and dealer employees are refusing test drives, not allowing people to sit inside the cars, and placing them behind a barrier monitored by CCTV, which are all measures to keep an event like this from ever occurring again.

Case: Fatal car accident on a small highway, May 27, 2022, 13:52.

Description: 8 car crashed on a small highway.

Injuries: In the Natri, driver and 1 passenger injured, 1 passenger died, in the Daewon, driver and 2 passenger died, in the Soliad, driver and 2 passenger died, in the ESCar, driver and 2 passenger died, in the Ibishu, driver and 2 passenger injured, in the Civetta, driver died, in the Gavril, driver and 1 passenger injured, 1 passenger died, in the Burnside, driver and 1 passenger died, 1 passenger injured.

Case: Land speed record gone wrong, June 4, 1999, 12:52.

Description: In 1999, a car mechanic, James Smith, wanted to break the land speed record, so he mounted 3 rockets on his 1970 Gavril Barstow, put a rollcage in it, put on a racing suit, drove to a desert highway, switched on the rockets and started speeding. When he was speeding at 550 mph, he accidentally ran off the road, lost control of his vehicle, hit a hill, caused his car to go airborne, somersaulted several times, hit another hill and fell back to the ground. A friend of James, who he had called to check his speed record, recorded the accident on video.

Injuries: James somehow survived the accident, but suffered life-threatening injuries.

Cars Involved: 1970 Gavril Barstow Land Speed Record.

Aftermath: James failed to break the land speed record for three reasons:

1.: It was an unofficial land speed record breaking.
2.: He crashed his car while breaking the land speed record.
3.: He was not going fast enough to break the land speed record.

Case: Speeding, 20th January 2020, 15:28:30

Description: On this day, a man, identity unknown, age ranging between 30 and 35, was driving at 76 km/h in a 50 zone. This day, the visibility was poor, being around 1.5 to 2.5 kilometers. He wanted to turn left towards Norte, but was too late with braking, and slammed into a traditional wine shop with an apartment on top.

Injuries: The male was slightly injured, but could walk away. 3 people (2 customers and owners daughter) received some cuts from broken wine bottles.

Vehicle involved: 2017 Hirochi Sunburst Hybrid, built in Belgium, sold as DE 363CD in Italy in 2017.

Damage: The Sunburst (msrp €14.600) had €8200 in damage. The shop&home had in total €1994 in damage.

Location: Crossroad of 2 unnamed roads, outside Norte, Italy.

Aftermath: The Norte Polizia investigated the cause. The man had 1.7 promille alcohol in his blood, almost 3x too much. His license was suspended and he was fined a total of €1020. He refused to pay, and went to court, where he lost. The Hirochi was sold in 2021. The wine shop, due to the crash that wiped out nearly 45% of their entire shop, and the pandemic, went out of business later that year.

Case: Night Racing Accident, August 15, 2021

Crash Description: On the weekend of August 14, the 24 Hours of Hirochi race was taking place. It was around 2 AM on August 15, just six hours before the race ended. The Cherrier/eShock driver lost control of his Vivace, and ended up crashing into a barrier. Another driver, driving the Hirochi/GripAll Sunburst, saw the car in front, locked up his brakes, and crashed. Another driver in the Scuderia Cievtta Scintilla saw the accident, lost control, and ended up crashing into the Vivace, resulting in a 3 car pileup.

Injuries: None of the drivers were injured.

Cars Used: 2020 Cherrier Vivace (Race), 2014 Hirochi Sunburst (Track (DCT), 2020 Civetta Scintilla (Race)

Aftermath: The race was halted for a short period of time while the crash was cleared up. After the crash was taken care of, the cars were repaired, and the race continued. The Hirochi driver got first, the Civetta driver placed fifth, while the Cherrier driver crashed again and placed last. It was later discovered the Cherrier driver was under the influence, and was disqualified from racing for 6 months

Case: Inexperienced driver loses control, July 4, 2021

Crash Description: A young driver and his friend were drifting on an empty road outside of Firwood City, when they lost control, spun off the road, and crashed into a tree.

Injuries: None

Map Used: East Coast

Cars Used: 2021 Bruckell Bastion Sport GT 6.5

Aftermath: The car was towed back to a dealer for repairs, and it was back on the road within a week. Both people were not fined, but the tree they hit later got chopped down as part of a renovation project officials were doing.

Case: Street racing and speeding on 6/17/2000


Crash Description: A 1988 ibishu covet EDX GTz and 1985 ibishu pessima GTz were street racing and right ahead a cop pulled over a cherrier picnic for speeding, when the pessima shoved the covet over and made it hit the cop car which made it collide into the picnic and in shock a Rayton Median flew off the road into a tree.


Injuries: The covet driver died for not having seatbelt on but besides that there were no other injuries.

UPDATE
The Pessima driver was caught down the road when he crashed trying to avoid a AW Astro.

 

Crash Description: A construction worker was tired and was driving in the opposite lane, and a Fps Trapez was coming his way.
He tried to avoid it but ended up flipping the top-heavy cement mixer on the car.

Case: drunk driving on the wrong side of the road: july 26th 2019



Crash description: a middle aged man called mike with a etk 1300 was drunk driving on the wrong side of the road and he hit 2 average american men. One of them was in a kashira and called jackson and the other was in a bruckell bastion and was called Dimitri.



injuries: jackson and dimitri only had a scrach on the leg but mike died becuase he didnt put his seatbelt on

aftermath: an ambulance later came and checked if jackson and dimitri were fine and mike was pronounced dead and the road was closed until they removed the crashed vehicles
