Crash Description: On a sunny July day, a JDM road rally was taking place throughout the US. On a Desert Highway in Arizona, the road started to get rocky from rocks in the desert blowing onto the road. Every driver drove over or past them, but this person wasn't so lucky. His front left wheel hit a rock and he spun out. Hitting a rock off road in the desert, he rolled twice. Crash Description: Christopher Feretti was on his way to work at approximately 8:00AM, travelling at around 60kph a deer jumped in front of his car, his reflex was to quickly steer the car away from the deer resulting in the car hitting a tree. The airbags immediately deployed, and onstar connected to Chris's car phone keeping him calm while paramedics and police where dispatched. Crash Description: As the first to go in the inaugural Dry Rock Island Rally, Alex Jalkku had no idea what was ahead. Much less that there was a rock on the apex of a light kink he decided to cut. At around 70mph, Jalkku hit the rock and his VW Polo WRC proceeded to roll twice before coming to rest on its wheels. Parts of Car Critically Damaged: The entire front end of the car was destroyed, including the engine. The suspension was completely wrecked, and there was severe body damage. Crash Description: Randy Lennons, the driver of the red 1997 Gavril D15 Sport, was turning right into an industrial road while Kevin Silack, the driver of his 2009 Hirochi Sunburst S, was texting on his phone until he hits Randy at approximately 74 KM/H. Randy lost control for a second but managed to not fly off the road. Parts of Car Critically Damaged: The Sunburst's bumper was smashed and the left headlamp was missing, the bonnet was bent. The D15's front fascia was dented into the radiator with the front bumper. Estimated Repair Cost and/or Totaled: Both cars costed around $5,000 in repairs. Crash Description: A man was driving his Gavril Grand Marshal on the motorway when he rear ended a broken down Hirochi Sunburst. The reason was that the weather was really foggy and the Hirochi driver didn't put any indication behind his car. There was a police car stopped to help the Hirochi Driver which was also involved in the accident. The Gavril Grand Marshal driver was speeding considering the poor weather conditions. Parts of Car Critically Damaged: The Sunburst was crushed, Front end of the Grand Marshal was totaled and there was some side damage to the Police car. Estimated Repair Cost and/or Totaled: The Hirochi went for scrap, Police car repair costs estimated to $700 and the Grand Marshal went for spare parts. Injuries: Luckily both the Sunburst and the Police car drivers were out of their cars when the accident happened. The Grand Marshal driver went to the hospital with head traumas, broken ribs and one broken arm. He recovered soon after. Crash Description: Matthew was driving his 1998 Supra Impreza STI, he was having his mate Paul in the car. Matthew wanted to show what the Impreza could do, and started to drive faster. He was cutting a corner with high speed, as he notices the red chevy droven my Jack Newman. But it was too late, Matthew slammed his brakes which caused the wheels to lock and he had lost all control of the car. The accident was now inevitable. Matthew slammed frontally with high speed into Jacks' chevy. Parts of Car Critically Damaged: Everything on both car's front end got totaled, including the engine etc. Estimated Repair Cost and/or Totaled: The impreza got totaled in the accident, and was not repaired. The chevy got repaired and restored by Jack Newman's grandson, Daniel Newman. This scenario was created using the Genius Twin Wheel F1 racing wheel. Crash Description: Jonathan J. Watkins was taking his recently purchased Hirochi Sunburst Sport RS for a spin in the small Atlantic town of Falmouth, Massachusetts, when he lost control of the vehicle and veered into one of the major support arches of the local bridge. The silver Sunburst slammed into the steel beam at approximately 56 mph, and crushed the entire front end of the vehicle. Strangely enough, the car was able to drive almost 75 yards away from the scene before radiator fluid and oil were completely drained from the engine and the engine itself seized up. Injuries (if any): Luckily, Mr. Watkins suffered surprisingly minimal injuries from the accident. This is because the Hirochi Sunburst Sport models have been equipped with five-star standard safety features for nearly a decade. Mr. Watkins experienced only minor whiplash, small scrapes and contusions from airbag deployment, and a twisted ankle from jamming his foot under the brake pedal during the collision.
