Scale. I tried shortening the wheel base but I think I got the links too short. I got the CPE 12 inch when everyone was going with 12.5. That 1/2 inch less makes it harder for the shocks to contract because the center driveshafts (MIP) don't have too much room to contract themselves. I might have to go back to the stock links.
you could make a steel plate that bolts up to the existing 4 link tabs to move the mounting points out a tad, i did that on my wheely king for awile
Yeah, they will, since horizon hobby bought axial, they said they are going to make some changes to it, idk what, but I know some secrets about the new ones coming out
Care to give us some clues about those "secrets"? I really hope an updated version of the SMT10 comes with bigger tires and the trans/motor/shafts necessary to run such tires. I've spent nearly $300 just to update mine to those specifications.
They look cool. If I already didn't have so many RC's I'd get a cen. Speaking of having too many RC's, I just scored this Tamiya Bullhead for only $8 from the local thrift store.
I still can't quite believe I made out with the Tamiya for only $8 lol. Technically it was $6.99 before taxes. It will need some things like new electronics most likely, maybe the motors and of course the radio but even then at I bought it a roller like this I could sell for $150-200 easily. I will be frequenting this store every weekend from now on, maybe even go back to it tomorrow lol.
I have more RC cars than I can count. Lots of Mt ones. Most are currently in storage until I can find a new place.
Real question does anyone in here have a spare smt10 chassis they wanna sell I cant seem to find one many places
How much would you want for it I wouldn't be able to get it for a hit minute but curious I wanna sit my grave digger body on something lol
