Ratings broken?

I had 359 but now I have 119

 

"Oh no, now everyone can't suck my huge EPEEN cuz they can't see that I said something 100 other people said before me and got ratings for it after I saw that they also got ratings for it!"

 

I have 0 ratings of any kind

 

Personally, I liked the rating system we had before. There was just about any rating you could ever want to give, and I don't think negative ratings should exist, we have a report button for a reason. If someone really disagrees with what someone else wrote, they can just reply to it and say it rather than press one button and make the other person feel bad or something. I suppose this depends on what is written. Also, I agree with the point made that this site isn't meant for competition, however I do think that the page made you want to keep making mods or answering questions, just so you could see your name up on that list. From what I have noticed now, it changed from Positive ratings to "Likes received". I really think that we should have the old voting system back, and I think I speak for others when I say it makes you happy when someone rates your post funny, or informative, or good work, I really disagree with the desicion to switch systems.
