It REALLY is nice to be 2 hours from a boatload of the worlds most beautiful racing cars. http://www.simeonemuseum.org/
People posting cool classic cars that were preserved because of course they were, so what about this: When was the last time you saw a USDM Nissan Stanza in such a great shape (yet alone in the middle of Europe)? Or a Mk.1 Skoda Octavia 100 Years of Motorsport Edition? Only 100 of these were made and I doubt that there are many that aren't locked inside a museum or a private collection. Might post more in the future but feast on these two for now.
The last time I saw a Nissan Stanza from the 80's was in a junkyard the thing lost a derby I guess or maybe a bunch of rednecks got bored and used it in a backyard derby.
I Wonder How we will React if We Saw a 911 GT1 Strassenversion or a Mercedes CLK GTR or a Pagani (In Real Life)
Wow guys, your findings are way more awesome than my mercury marauder haha A week or two ago I thought I saw another Marauder in a Target parking lot but it was just a Crown Vic with a little body kit haha --- Post updated --- My neighbor down the street has a bunch of cars like Lamborghinis and Bentleys, one of his buddies has a classic Porsche but he put a body kit on it, just why? You think it would be awesome, but lemme tell ya, Lambos going down your street at 6 am isn’t always the best thing ever. Most of the time, I don’t mind the sounds though haha. My dream (rare) car to own though would be the Qvale Mangusta. Check out Doug DeMuro’s video on it, it’s a pretty cool car, and only 214 or 218 were made. (2019 edit: Yikes, I look back at these posts and cringe.)
And with good reason. I live less than an hour away from Amelia Island, so one year I really need to go to the Concourse D'elegance there. Plenty of rarity there. As for what I've seen... I don't know. I go to many car shows and everything blends together. I've also been to the huge car museum in Tacoma, Washington. I saw a rat rod made from a 90's Nissan, that's sort of a rare thing.
Saw a Mk2 Morris Marina 1.8 Estate parked outside a church when me and my brother were walking home a few weeks back. We, quite literally, ran over to it and walked around it for a solid ten minutes. Other than that, there's a Silvia S13 and a Lexus IS200 Sport Cross near where I live, and two modded Nissan Cubes (of both generations) Those are probably the rarest cars I've seen in person.
Some rich guy (he got a % of sorts from XBOX 360 sales IIRC) in a suburb of the city I'm in owns a Bugatti of some kind (looked like a Veyron or related model). I saw it on the highway about 7-6 years ago.
Are there any modern Bugattis besides the Veyron, the Chiron (which didn't exist 6-7 years ago) and the EB 110?
I don't know, I haven't looked at their brand and lineup. I don't want to make an assumption and be wrong.
One time at a car show I saw an orange 1974 Marcos and it was RHD. It was pretty cool seeing a RHD car in USA (the country I live in).
a datsun 720 one like this same thing as the one i saw but diffrent colors --- Post updated --- i went to japan and magicly i saw this
