I did try GTA5 and had to refund, it was that horrible, then I decided to try Saints Row the Third and much more to my liking, character customization options are nicer as well as choice of characters and it does not have that ugly radioactive look in graphics that GTA5 has, even fighting and driving works better to my liking. Cozy and all that:
Playing Plague Inc. Evolved. BTW, any other Plague Inc players here that agrees that fungus is borderline impossible, even on normal? After so many failed tries, I just said f it and completed it on casual and pity mode.
I've been replaying my gamecube games. Mario Golf, Dolphin pics... This game is great even though it's from 2003... Nothing like playing with Action replay cheats either.
Guess which uses PBR? I'm not sure what the fuzz is about with graphics, left most seems to use less exposure than middle one, while right one is something between except sky gets over exposed? One on middle and one on right has pretty much same FFB, one on left has bit different, feels more fake, more exaggerated. Sound, one on left is really nice, one at middle is okay, one on right is not there yet. Handling, one on left and one on middle are close, but one on middle has more fidelity and is nicer, one at right is slippery (it is not GT3 car, hence it can be slippery because of that). Also forgot about fourth one, this looks bit different usually, but is perhaps bit lacking in driving and FFB areas and does not always sound so great:
I played on a KEYBOARD at 10 FPS *ded* Endurance racing is in my veins, and yes, it's fun until you see yourself approaching the wall (like me, bottling the entrance of the 1st turn of Daytona RC in GTR2) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TBH I was at the other way round. I tried SR2, SR3 and SR4 and I immediately refunded SR2 and SR4, because I don't like that kind of weirdness in those games (and the shitty optimizations on SR2). I still kept 3, it's better than the other 2, but I don't really played that much either. Meanwhile, here's some gameplay from Watchdogs, a game I got for cheap. It's buggy, but I like it's gameplay. The story is kinda dull tho.
That is great thing about variety, people are different and like different things, but thankfully we have different kind of games for different kind of people to enjoy. For me, exactly that weirdness is the fun thing in games, so I guess that is why SR3 works for me.
