also, if it matters, i did have to fix the infinate loading bug / no image bug, which is making the .mis file match the folder that it is in, and the same with the preview image this is the fix that i used http://www.beamng.com/threads/12376-This-is-how-to-fix-grey-screen
Well in that case it seems like you extracted from the zip wrong, the folder should have matched the .mis file. It should look like this
the thing is, it is caps sensitive, atleast it was for me, also if the .mis file name doesnt match the preview name before the _preview suffix, it will not load, hence the infinate loading bug, btw i am using the new mods folder installation method, where you put the zip in the mods folder and have the folder tree go levels > Rally_Forrest
that fixed it, i wish it was worked when using the new mod installation method though, this is the method btw, http://wiki.beamng.com/Installing_Content
I know the new method, just didn't take the time to convert it, I'll try to get it working once they have a repository for mods released
also if you plan on getting AI working, its pretty easy to get the new AI working on maps, you just have to change one value per road decal
This is one of, if not the best map i have played so far. Im seriously in love! Now if only i had a co driver.
Should i do that? its a seprate map. - - - Updated - - - To clarify its just the trees wrong, they are green.
No don't combine, it's just weird because no one else is getting this problem. If you go to the Rally_Forest_Snow/art/forest and open the managedItemData.cs in a text editor do the shapefile lines all point to the rally forest snow level? like this other than that I have no idea
You ain't kidding. weird. Just call it the "spring thaw" map. Seems to me the snow map is calling for the non-snow trees when it shouldn't be. Have you looked at the .mis to see what it's loading?
