That was the original idea for this app...
Could it be updated in the future to have various preset variants that are for example selected in the car's frame or body Jbeam? Or is it too much work for too insignificant result?
these 3 things everyone wants but its hard to add.
1. Airbags, yeah i know its possible to add but it will kinda lag, oh and why did that guy named jsz who was working on airbags, get banned permenently?
2. dust/mud, idk if someone has tried to add it
3. scratchs/ light dents,
im just saying these im not begging so please dont hate me
It seems night time in general is very neglected by the devs, absolutely nothing about it is realistic in the slightest
Because he stole models without credits for his hawkeye sunburst and trekker. As for the airbags i don't remember it but there appears to be a solution that's optimized.
Maybe make triggers (red/green boxes) only visible in walking mode or while holding specific button? I find it annoying when i'm just driving a pickup or anything with cargo doors and see an ugly box popping out
splash water effect, definitely
aren't water physics already a thing?
I would love to see animated manual transmission shifters, it would be a cool little detail that just adds a bit more realism to the game imo
what i meant was a sound when you hit the water and not just *bloop*
These are not QoL suggestions. They're feature requests.
This is a QoL suggestion.
oh shit, yeah.
This is a QoL suggestion: https://www.beamng.com/threads/pick-a-car-on-the-free-roam-screen.82503/
Pick a car before you start a free roam session so that you don't always have to wait to load in your default before changing it. The same way it works for Time Trials.
In fact, speaking of time trials, how about not having to reload the entire map if you change vehicle after finishing a race.
is better UI also a QOL suggetion?
specific small details maybe.
UI QOL changes!
1. Better colours mode, so the current UI has a feature to change its colours but, its sort of glitchy, so i would recommend a better colour change mode, and better dark mode! cause dark mode cool!
2. more sleek and faster UI, the current UI kind of looks flat, would be cool to see a kind of remarstered UI, make the UI more faster to response, and add new buttons, replacing the old outdated ones! also, the car customization menu also kinda looks old, so better customization UI!
these are just my opinions, so please dont killl me.
The main thing I want is better AI in general, from traffic to race to chase. More competent AI would have a major impact in terms of general gameplay.
Quality of life for mod making: on the dev textures, please for the love of god leave a decent sized square of all the dev textures so we can use them easier in our mods. Trying to fit stuff into the custom UV mapped images isn’t always easy. I know the right thing to do is make your own textures but a lot of people and I aren’t there yet.
A submenu for wheel size and wheel color once you select a wheel, like so
(bold one is the selected wheel, the indented options being a submenu with a dropdown for each option within).
> Wheel Size: 16x9
> Wheel Color: Black
> Tires: Drift Tires
Also, having all types of tires for all wheels- its such a pain when only certain wheels have rallycross or drift tires, especially when there is one you think is absolutely gorgeous but simply doesn't have the right tire compound.
They would have to model way more size versions for all wheels which would take a lot of time and wouldn't be realistic
Maybe not... I think it's just formatting wheel options differently. For example, if a wheel comes in 4 different sizes on a 5 bolt pattern, you have to scroll through the wheel options based on wheel size to find the wheel you want. What they're recommending is that you would instead select the wheel you like first, then choose from whatever available sizes and colors are available. There's a wheel mod pack that already runs a system like this and it's EXTREMELY helpful. Especially if you're indecisive between 2 wheel sizes, it's super easy to change that without having to scroll past a bunch of other wheels.
