Yep, but its usually done a hell of a lot better than that. They could have at least carried the weird looking falling body line that is on the side along to the front wing.

A 1971 Plymouth GTX from google, and my 1975 Plymouth Duster on the first day I went out to work on it, lol.
Ahh the car that started the longest production in the world. Shame the Falcon will be killed off in 2016
Erm I'm pretty sure the Suburban holds that title. :\ It started production in 1935. Unless I misunderstood what you said.
Oh. Huh. Seems like everyone has different ideas about what the longest running production vehicle is. I stand corrected
Sure the falcon isn't longest *continuous* production, ie, no years they didn't sell it in between (which I think excludes the phantom, possibly suburban)
While on the topic of Audi: B5 A4 (left) and D2 A8 (right) are probably among the greats with respect to sedan styling and proportioning. Too bad Audi didn't pull off the Bauhaus design on the A6 as well as they did on the MkI TT. I would love to own a D2, but I'm not too sure I can trust myself with the responsibility of using a clean one as a daily. (imported from here)
The B5 is a fantastic looking car all around. I don't think it's exciting looking or anything, it's just a nicely styled "an car". The rear of it is great, too. That generation of A8 is also nice, but I'm not too much of a fan of the A6 generation in the middle unless it's in a good colour combo.
I can't think of any Audi that's bad looking. It's like they can't get it wrong. The A2 was quirky looking but still nice, nothing was off proportions or anything. BMW has only made two cars I would call ugly, the 5 series GT and the i3. Germans are certainly good at making cars that look great, and drive great, and are just overall great cars.
The A2 was fugly in my opinion, but it was for good reason. It supposedly had the lowest drag coefficient for any car ever at the time, and was also apparently rather spacious and practical. Similar to the Fiat Multipla. Ugly design, good car.
