Your opinion. Which, unfortunately, clearly differs from that of almost anyone who knows the basics of automotive design.
So the Lamborghini Miura, Countach, Gallardo, Ferrari GTO, Testarossa, 360, and the Acura NXS are badly design cars. While the Citroen CX Loadrunner is a beautiful car. By the sound of it we're both are idiots.
I see that you are also a fan of the highly-innovative Citreon SM (first picture). That thing is not only beautiful aesthetically, but it also had automatically-adjusting air suspension; a 167-horsepower Maserati V6 (the M in SM); a mid-engine, front-wheel-drive drivetrain layout; swiveling cornering lamps; highly-aerodynamic styling; and many other innovations that made it stand out excellently against its contemporaries. It really was ahead of its time by at least 10 or 15 years, which is, in retrospect, part of its appeal to collectors and enthusiasts in the know. Also, I didn't know that Abarth tuned Autobianchis, as well as building these gorgeous beauties: (750 Zagato Coupe) (Simca-Abarth 1300) (Simca-Abarth 2000) ...and here's some more beautiful old cars to feast your eyes on: (Porsche 904) (Devin SS) (Bocar XP-6) (Bocar Stiletto) (Cisitalia 202) (1953 Studebaker) (1952 Chrysler Styling Special)
No, but dismissing some of Opron's or Pininfarina's most acclaimed work as "meh" designs kinda says something about your "opinion". Or taste, for that matter. We get it, some foreigner pissed in your all-american cereal. No need to quote me every day to reiterate your point.
That's what I do: if I disagree about something, I either shut up and ignore it, or argument my counter-opinion. And, no, "Meh" is not an argumented opinion. Just don't quote me if all you mean to do is to spill out random resentment toward strangers.
Okay good for you But my opinion on it is "It just there there is nothing about the design of it that makes me hate it or make me love it it's just a 5/10"
And my opinion is you're just quoting me everywhere in an attempt to prove some Pure American Superiority™. All your posts are more or less about that, you're starting to sound like a broken record. Tastes differ. I don't like about half of the cars posted here. If I were to quote each post I disagree with (with "crap" or "meh"), this thread would be like twice as long.
Yeah that's pretty true But I did like say something good about 3 of them. All right (A 7/10), Okay (A 6/10), and Great (A 10/10).
1930s/40s Stout Scarab. It is near the top of my list of "Best designed cars of all time" Its so weird, cute, pretty, and innovative at the same time.
Acura NSX, not NXS. Speaking of which, the 1990-2002 Acura/Honda NSX (with the pop-up headlights) is a VERY pretty car.
