Technically a madza isn't rotary engined. Rotary and radial engines are both piston based engines. The Mazda engine is known as a Wankel engine and yes has a roughly triangular rotor

Animation of a radial engine: A rotary engine is actually the same as radial, except rather than having a fixed place crankcase and cylinders with the crankshaft spinning in the middle, the crankshaft on a rotary engine is fixed in place and the crankcase and cylinder blocks then spin around it, not a very efficient setup really. Not what a mazda uses ey? Sherman tank was actually radial engined. Also a pretty vehicle.
Nope, you ignored my previous posts pointing out that mazda do not use a rotary engine and actually use a wankel engine (it is not wankel rotary, just wankel), I then followed up with what a radial is and then a brief description of what an actual rotary engine is. I didn't mistype anything.
