People have life's you know, he goes to college. Plus its not their job to put something in-game. They do it because they enjoy it.
It is in BNG, mostly finished as well. There's just quite a few problems with the drivetrain code regarding really low ratio gears as well as the default wheel model so I'm waiting on those to be improved before I release something I'll just get complaints about. Besides, I still need to UVMap and texture it(as well as finish off the model at some point).
Thanks for the bump, I had never seen this truck before! so much detail! Great work 0xsergy, I'll be one happy driver when I can smash this thing up
yeah when I tried to put a gear ratio of like 100:1 the tires would spin faster than they should and then brake if I remember right.
In Sergy's case the 1st gear is so low that the gas goes on and off rapidly, and it struggles to get out of first gear, sames goes for his 2 reverse gears. Because of this its not that enjoyable to drive and thats why hasn't done any work on it.
If you need anything to know about this car and let us know;-) The car was produced in the country and I found the old catalog Praga V3S where everything;-)
He said its in game, he's just waiting for some bugs with really low gear ratios, and the wheel model of the game are fixed and or improved. Also needed to be UV'ed and textured according to his last comment. Which is about half way up the page btw..
Nothing big to report here. I took a little hiatus from BNG for the last few months as I needed a break but I'm back(well, kinda) and starting to work on things again. With MetalMunchers help, as I suck at lua, I got adjustable pressure tires(the real V3S M2 has em so I felt it necessary to add). They work pretty much flawlessly. Once the new GUI stuff is added I'll find a way to display a number, or maybe even a gauge, on the screen instead of in the console. At the moment it's bound to two keypresses.
