The topic/issue to bring up is...
The clutch lockup torque is dependent on the engine's max torque.

    This happens when...
    (include reproduction steps)

Well this is part of the game:
    Code:
    device.lockTorque = device.lockTorque or (device.parent.torqueData.maxTorque * 1.25 + device.parent.maxRPM * device.parent.inertia * math.pi / 30)

    Instead it should...
    (explain what behavior you expected)

I would love to have the ability to either select from a range of clutches with different lockup torques or be able to set the lockup torque in the "Tuning" section of the "Vehicle Customization" UI.

    My specs are...
(include information about your hardware - CPU, GPU, RAM, input methods, etc.)

    Not relevant in this case.

1-Improve FFB and 2- FFB safety

1- The FFB is lacking for the Direct Drive Wheel. The steering wheel rotation and response way too fast and aggressive. The FFB feeling simply is not natural.

2- There should be FFB safety especially for DD wheel owner - Reduce the impact on Collision FFB strength like what iRacing did. it's too harmful when we have a collision.

Add more Racing scenario Please, for the trophy truck race :)

    My Spec are..
    Cpu: i7 8700k
    GPU: GTX 1080
    Memory: 16 GB 3200HZ
    OS: Win 10
    Storage: SSD 2tb
    Steering Wheel: Simucube 2 pro

Something that has always bugged me is how the carburetted version of the Covet still has a MPFI style plenum and throttle body/intake (and not a carburettor) and a rev limiter, while most carbed cars of this style just scream and valve float.
As well as that, the Cherrier Vivace diesels have a bouncy rev limiter, where as most diesels stay at a certain rev, goverened or soft limiter when revved to max RPM

Specs arent really relevant as its something ive noticed for a while. but:
    -Ryzen 7 1700
    -32GB DDR4
    -GTX 1060 6GB

Certain automatic transmission having extremely heavy gears that cause the engine to lug

    This happens when...
You choose the v8 auto on the Wendover or the covets 4 speed all lug after around 3rd gear

    Instead it should...
Less heavy gears that have more natural progression as you go up the gears, maybe even torque converter unlocking based on throttle input.

I'd like to be able to creep forward in manual transmissions with the auto clutch operation.

I play with a controller, so the game uses the clutch for me, as it does with keyboard users. The problem is that if I shift into first gear, accelerate, and then stop accelerating, the car will slowly come down to a full stop, without me having to shift into neutral. The car will only try to creep if throtle input is more than 0%, but this is not how cars irl behave.

I think the clutch should stay engaged in this condition, allowing the car to creep at idle rpm, only disengaging if any brake pressure is aplied. I believe this would make driving manual crawlers much easier, as any right pedal input in the first gears in low range is excesive. With this change in logic we can just leave it in gear like you do with AT.

    Laptop:
    -8th gen I7 CPU
    -rtx 2060ti GPU
    -16gb ddr4 RAM
    -516gb ssd + 1tb memory
    -Dualshock 4 controller

    The problem: Differential locking system

What happens now: You can lock any diff in any combination between front and rear and independent of the range box status, at any speed.

What should happen: Many cars with diff locks, especially production vehicles, can’t lock the front and rear diff individually. Furthermore, the diff state is usually connected to a drive mode controlled by a second gearbox handle, often (2H = RWD high range, 4H = 4WD high range, 4L = 4WD low range with locked diffs).
Additionally you can (/should) lock the diffs / change drive mode only while being stationary, or the rangebox and diffs may take damage. All this or at least some would be cool to see.

IMO odd/unsatisfying sunburst RS drivetrain behavior when esc is in drift mode and off

When I put the sunburst in drift mode the car does want to drift, but it feels like half of the time the esc has no clue what to do and ends up behaving very weirdly and unpredictable/unnaturally. For example sometimes the drift esc sometimes corrects a drift when I didn't want it to correct and sometimes it makes the car suddenly oversteer more or ends up just cutting power. This behavior makes the drift mode IMO not that much fun. I also discovered that after playing around in drift mode and putting the esc to any other esc mode after that sometimes results in the car being fwd only (as shown in the video at 1:30), requiring a reset to fix the issue. I also want to add that IMO the sunburst isn't enough slidy (it feels like it really doesn't want to slide) when esc is turned off and understeers IMO too much, and it feels like I really need to force the car to slide to actually get it to slide. And when I get it to slide only a bit it almost feels like the car desperately really doesn't want to slide anymore. :)

Instead the drift mode should IMO be more natural and predictable, without the drift esc mostly doing something that really doesn't help (possibly just making the power split very rwd biased, f.example 80:20, without the esc interfering. I also wish the sunburst would be more slidy and less understeery (possibly just more power to the real wheels) when esc is completely turned off to make the car more fun. :D

    Ryzen 5900x
    RTX 3080
    32gb ram
    + steering wheel and pedals

    Problem: Throttle response

What happens now: If you drive a car with any not-drag transmission and you apply little throttle / repeatingly tab the throttle, the arcade gearbox or automatic gearbox shifts way up, because of fuel saving reasons (I presume), which is realistic. However if you now hit the throttle, it takes forever for the gearbox to shift down into a gear where the engine actually has some power.

What should happen: Many automatic transmissions have a „kickdown“ feature where they shift a gear down if you press the throttle 100%. This is obviously impractical for keyboard players of the game, because they would always activate kickdown. However my idea is: Like jatos, kickdown can get triggered from two systems: the throttle input axis being at 100% from controller or pedal, and a keybinding that explicitly invokes kickdown.
Additionally the arcade gearbox also gets this feature like the actual automatic transmission.

I've never heard of this; I know specifically that a second gen Nissan XTerra could switch while in motion, though for some reason, in the one I had experience with, you had to turn a corner to make it work. It sounds stupid but I verified it multiple times.

This is more something that irks me, especially with the wendover having clear overdrive and drive places on its console automatic gear selector meaning the shifter doesnt line up with the right gear

The topic/issue to bring up is...
i really think vehicles should have separate overdrive and drive gears as well as not every vehicle having the same PRND21 or PRNDSM layout. i think it'd be cool if we could choose between having overdrive or not as well as some vehicles having more options. my dad's old peugeot 306 went PRND321 and meant it could be a pretty fun auto to drive despite not technically having manual gear changing. plus it would add some more variety to the vehicles and at the moment pretty much all the torque convertor autos feel the same

The topic/issue to bring up is...

It will bee nice to add like cylinder damage (or like sparkplug damage, or even electronic damage that affect engine performance) , like you hit the front of the vehicle and the 1st cylinder is damaged, also the sound of the engine is different and there are noticable change to the engine itself, worst performance, worst fuel economy and after more and more cylinder got damaged the engine starts to use oil or cooling and geting hard to idle. My english is bad soo i dont know what to say more, if dev. see this you will understand what i mean.

    This happens when...

When you hit the car in the front (where is engine mounted, depend where is located) and the engine gets damaged, the 1st. cylinder got damage and the sound get different. The engine performace will get worst and the fuel conomy. After 2-3 cylinder got damage, the engine starts to use oil or coolant and will be hard to idle (if engine have small number of cylinders)

    Instead it should...
    N/A

    My specs are...
    AMD athlon x4 860k
    12gb RAM
    RX580
    1tb memory

The topic/issue to bring up is...
The main issue for me are the horsepower/torque curves on various engines not crossing at 5252rpm.

    This happens when...
Many different engines or engine configurations are like this. Gas and diesel engines. Just add the included torquecurve app and see for yourself. Take the base D-Series with the 4.5L V8 that you start with when opening the game. It's horsepower/torque cross at around 2700rpm.
    upload_2021-4-23_19-50-8.png

    Instead it should...
All engines torque curve should cross at 5252rpm, no matter the configuration. It is physically impossible for it to be anything different since they are directly related to each other.

    My specs are...
    Intel Core i5
    GTX 970
    8gb of ram
Input methods - Mostly controller. Sometimes g27 wheel :)

Thank you for looking! This has been bothering me for such a long time now. It is great to see the devs so open for feedback!

on the first gen pessima automatic the transmission shifts too early. when it is given almost full throttle it will shift through the gears way too early, then you give it more throttle to downshift and it shifts to a way lower gear really abruptly then upshift way too early. not to mention the rpms jump when shifting. it is so terrible. I also notice the issue on the 200bx auto, covet auto and on the legran and wedover w/ the locking torque converter. I really hope this issue will be fixed.

This is because the power and torque curves are on different graph scales (torque ranges from 0~500, while power ranges from 0~250) so they won't appear to cross at 5252 RPM. And so it should cross at 2626 RPM and which it does because there is a two times difference between the two graph scales.

It's a personal opinion, but it's very cumbersome and cumbersome to set the speed limit of the launch control every time to get a perfect start.
Rather, how about embedding the launch controller in the ECU?

The topic/issue to bring up is...

I would like to ESC and Traction Control works more effectively on offroad driving such as on a diagonal wheel offroading.

    This happens when
I drive roamer with ESC/TC on diagonal wheel offroading, ESC/TC tends to barely brakes the spinning wheel, and when I turn the wheel feels like it doesn't brake the spinning wheel at all.

    Instead, it should
It should work more effectively by braking the spinning wheel harder and trigger wheel spin much more and work in any direction of the steering wheel.

when using the wentward in manual mode, if you lock up the brakes at high speed and press throttle while the wheels are locked up, the transmission will automatically shift to m1 and cause overrev

if you lock up the wheels in a manual car with clutch assist turned on, it will cause the clutch to stay pressed until you throttle again

With D, 2, 1... In an automatic... 2 does both 1st and 2nd.. all the automatics I've driven, 2 is actually second. Not 1 and 2.
