unless the devs completely overhaul the pressureWheels system or make important changes to it, I don't see why would they break. As long as you use your own model instead of relying on a vanilla mesh from the common.zip folder and also make your own materials or textures you should be safe --- Post updated --- I've been working on it on and off, but I don't post on the thread as it's usually very minor stuff that most users won't realize, mostly cleaning up jbeam stuff etc etc, and I'm also waiting on someone else to make badges for it as I'm going to separate it off autobello and make it a standalone brand instead. I've also worked on reducing file size and optimizing texture resolution (gone from 567mb to around 295, I can get it lower but I'm busy making new projects ) --- Post updated --- another tire done
New Update is out! Added Selecta Advanced 09DA (for all the sizes available for the previous radial tires) Added Selecta Zero Asimmetrico (for all the sizes available for the previous radial tires) Added 15x10 rear tire support Added tires for tire_F/R_18x10_alt slot Added 17x4 bias ply tires for the Bruckell Nine Fixed some sizes of rear tires having "front tires" label instead of rear tires misc fixes and tweaks
That's not $3, that's $3 per month. This is exactly what I was talking about when you released your second wheelpack, this kind of intense profit-seeking is just discouraging to people like me who have paid for your previous mods. *EDIT* Removed mention of beach buggy mod-related issue that was actually my fault
seems like you're the only one actively complaining because I've had a lot of people happily paying for everything separately, while also others just subscribe to my patreon. I don't take forums complaining too seriously because it's the same 2 people constantly attacking me for it, drama gets cleared up next day anyways. as for the buggy, yeah I need to catch up with it, mind elaborating which configuration is broken?
My point is that eventually people's patience for paying one person for what are clearly diminishing returns runs out, and mine happens to have been the first. Now that I know that you pay so little attention to your customers that you lump their genuine feedback in with people who just don't like paid mods and post to cause problems, I guess I'll just stop trying to communicate mine. When your customer base does run dry, don't say I didn't warn you. The buggy issue was completely on me TBH, I didn't read the fine print about the 456K having special handbrake keybinds so I thought it just didn't work because I saw other people saying it was broken. Other than that everything on it works perfectly. I am a bit embarrassed to say how much my self-inflicted problems with the buggy mod were coloring my attitude, but I stand by what I originally said. I know sometimes my tone doesn't come across the best on forums, so I just want to end by saying I genuinely hope to see you doing whatever makes you happiest, whether that be providing us content or otherwise. I just have to put on the serious hat when my money is involved, and as someone who does appreciate your work and has paid for it in the past, I wanted to let you know why I am not paying for it now. That's all. Again, thank you for doing what you do, even if I don't personally think the end product is worth the monetary value you've assigned it, creating is a grueling and intense process and I respect anyone who engages in it, be it for profit or otherwise.
This is the truest and most honest statement regarding paid mods I've heard in a long time. Probably couldn't have said it better myself
word on the streets is he will quadruple the price once it’s done, so you better get it while it’s cheap.
ngl you should raise the price to 8$ so more people can afford it 2,75$ is way too damn expensive i had to spend my whole paycheck on this
EXACTLY! Paid mod creators don't care about you, they only care about money. That speaks for itself when you see a paid tyre mod pack given the fact that there's very few free high quality tyre mods you can get here. And because of that, I can see why there's constant drama in this community whenever a paid mod gets released - because modding is supposed to be a hobby, and it's no longer a hobby when money is involved. You know, there's still quite a handful of people who spend their free time making a completely free mod (no pun intended), because it's a hobby and they aren't doing it for profit; they're doing it for fun, as you can see. Unfortunately, some modders nowadays only make mods for profit and a few others are getting into the bandwagon and echo chamber of the paid modding scene, which leads to more problems such as leaking and an alarming increase of paid mods and a decrease of free ones. Also, some of these modders also use IRL branding without permission, as evidenced in the Bugatti Tourbillon mod thread, which can get them into legal trouble, DMCA takedowns, and a possible cease and desist. Now all I hope at this point, is for the developers to do something regarding this ongoing problem - it's gone way too far. Don't believe me? See The Sims 4, Bethesda, Assetto Corsa and Minecraft modding communities. The Sims 4 in particular had a big problem with paid CC (custom content) that was (and is still) so bad that EA had to interfere by forcing modders to resort to paid early access by a certain period, however, most modders did not care and were still making paid mods that are of bad quality, overpriced, and permanently paywalled.
Most Paid Modders DO care about people, (If only because the people are the ones buying the content) but not all of them. However I do agree with this statement overall.
no, instead of that you and your cronies should just stop crying about them everywhere. this is not the place to moan about paid mods to begin with, try and start off with making your own thread and vent there.
Do you want a lawless world of no speed limits, stop signs, or red lights? NO you want law and rules to make things fair and safe.
That’s already a case and guess what, scamming people of their money is quite a common practice in every single field under the sun. Does it mean that every field that includes transaction should be banished? No. Y’all mfs always got the same arguments, always the case of “hurr durr mesh slap 15 million bucks per month hurr durr”
Rules for paid mods would prevent crappy mesh-slaps, Illegal IRL Paid mods, and other "questionable" practices.
