I have done some work now and the car is sort of in the game. The unibody and the suspension at least. Body has some bad spiking when crashing, Suspension needs a bunch of work to make stable, rear is very bouncy while the front which is a transverse spring is too stiff and makes it ride high. I also need to fix the steering and one issue that has stumped me so far. The tires are very unstable and seem to explode when spawned. Anyone know how to fix this? The wheel jbeam is based on a 13x5 inch wheel scaled down to 12x5.5
There hasn't been much progress at all since the last post other than that i fixed the suspension issue. I haven't been able to work on it because of other IRL things but I'm hoping to get back to it by summer.
Just a small update: I have finally made some progress so that the car is drivable. I fixed the tire issue and made the steering work but its not perfect. You can see a large suspension flex when on full lock and extreme steering angles.
I fixed the steering issue i believe, added brakes so it stops, re added the radiator support and made it so it didn't contort. Also added some doors but there are clipping problems that I have to fix and the unibody is jiggly and the roof is fragile af
