great another cancelled mod

 

Did someone say it was cancelled? The mod is still worked on and if i will need to i will try to get the premission from the creator of the model.

 

you can use meshes from other sources, there's no rule against it (with the exception of the repository, which is just another subforum mess anyway)

it's just good to see credit. beamng mods have been made with hum3d models before, and while the models aren't incredible quality, in most instances not even good, they can work out okay. they can also be decent references since they have some really obscure models.

i don't blame the OP for anything, i've been passed stolen models before without knowing.

For the past days i was working on materials for the colors(working) and the glass (about 50-60% done),
I am going away for about a week so dont expect updates for a while.

 

Unibody...

 

Instead of modifying the Wendover JBEAM, i started to make my own one from scratch. Its really fun and easy to make them. Hoping to finish it soon!

For now i am making a jbeam for the frame/unibody. So i can't import everything.

 

import the unibody from the mk2 pessima (midsize_body.jbeam)

 

I want to make my own instead of modifying a vanilla one. I will learn more about jbeam while making one from scratch.

Also the pessima is a 4-door sedan. Not a 2-door coupe, like the Russell

 

when will the mod be released

 

I have a suggestion which I think will greatly improve the mod: old 90's-00's bodykits and tuning. Rieger (lore-friendly name Rieser) bodykits (both the normal stuff and the "Catano" widebody), irmscher (fischer) bodykits and goodies, the Zender (Zepler) bodykit, maybe some clear tail lights, smoked ones etc. Maybe for a "Race" intake, you could replicate the Lexmaul intake.

 

A convertible like the ones made by small custom companies would be cool

 

I had this idea for some time now, when i will get this mod to run smooth, i'll def. add this. In the 00' Tuning Calibra's where very popular in Poland where i come from.

Since this is my first mod and i dont really have a lot of free time, so i think a early Access version will be released in about 2 months. (I don't promise anything!)
