Does anyone know why this was cancelled.>? cus i would have loved to play on this map since i love long freeways.
He cancelled it because something went wrong with the map what was based on oklahoma. When he managed to fix it, he had another idea to make the hightway go through states. And he kept it cancelled because he isnt sure about the map getting done without any issues.
So that means you'll eventually post again on this thread, but just for this new project instead of the Oklahoma one right?
Sorry to bump this thread, but since I have now started my own map I am wondering how you created the initial cancelled Oklahoma Interstate and your new map project - are you doing the whole thing with 3D meshes, using BeamNG terrain, or a combination of both? If you created parts of the highway in Blender where did you learn to do it? I am asking because although my own map uses an 8x8km block of BeamNG terrain it will feature extensions of the Interstate onto 3D mesh terrain outside of the core of the map, initially done in a rough manner using vanilla mesh roads, but at some point after the initial release I want to refine the roadway to look more realistic.
