Was supposed to be an update this weekend, but didn't happen. I assume either there was a problem, or real life got in the way
Lol a little from column a a little from column b... I'm moving house over next next couple of weeks and i was away lookibg at new places then I got held up working on the miramar. Yes, but the engine is super quiet. 0.10 seems to have broken the sounds in some mods (this, CRD Momster Truck for examples)
yes with no problems, currently using mine every day. My current version is V902, i think the Newest version of the mod, is on P32 --- Post updated --- Not a problem on the holdup, rather have a good product a little late, than a broken one early
Just to let you know whats going on guys, I did make a fair bit of progress on the hopper last night, I just need to fix a couple of texture issues but I'm away for the night so I wont be getting anything done until maybe late tomorrow. I'm really glad everyone is enjoying the pack, I plan on adding a lot more in the future, including independent suspension for both front and rear, a prerunner with massive amounts of travel, limiting straps that are adjustable on the fly and a few more axle options, such as shortening the dana80s to near standard hopper track width, and a version of the standard axle mounted on a triangulated 4 link (wont be as high as the danas and should mount on the standard frame) Winches and ground anchors are also on the cards as is the revival of the rock bouncer and truggy chassis that jacklumba made. I have also started adding a few upfits to the 6x6 chassis but they wont be ready until the next big update either.
Cheers kirakat, it'll be a while before the prerunner pictured is in game but I figured if I release a pic it might help get me motivated to start jbeaming the thing. I've been looking at it since I built the 6x6 but needed a break from the hopper for a bit. The amount of parts that are modelled but not yet jbeamed is a little overwhelming. I think the latest update has helped spark the will to see it bouncing across a desert though and I have learnt a lot since beginning to work on the hopper pack. Eventually I'll get around to teaching myself to texture and hopefully lift the quality of my work a little further.
I don't know if it was the game update or what, but i finally got to play with your car designs. I had to build my own, when i first downloaded it. honestly the crawlers work best with the 2.5L 4 banger on crawl central. BTW the 6x6 monster will wheelie on sand with the stage 4 supercharger. That thing is crazy, in a fun way. Looking forward to what you are working on
I think it needs some skinnier fender flares to give it that jeep wrangler look also softer high lift suspension
I think the ute body is coming along pretty nicely. I need to spend a little time getting the bottom tub sorted out but its getting there.
