This is sick! keep up the great work! I was going to buy an S13 a few weeks ago but I ended up buying a BMW E36 instead
Its a good thing someones making this, planning to finally get a new laptop soon, mad specs, and create a proper sim setup.... I think my first duty is to ride some walls..... --- Post updated --- If possible could I suggest developing a kit like this (I cant remember the name I'll get it). Car owned by a fellow beer sinker that lives down in Sydney, about 10 hours from me. And yes, a few of you keen spotters might recognise this car from the Hoonigans video when Hert and Chairslayer came here for Drift Matsuri (yes I went to it and I camera bomb in the background when they're filming lol). Car also has a 1J so its a perfect car to replicate.
This mod is looking great, As this vehicle is released under other names throughout the world, 180sx in Japan, 200sx in Europe, will the vehicle also get those nameplates? I'm assuming you are creating a S13 240sx hatch looking at the pictures, and not the s13 coupe or s14 240sx.
Sometimes it's just fun to experiment with Russian mods, just download a whole bunch and see what happens.
Cannot wait to drive it, hopefully more realism mods will come out, like wheels etc in general then they'll look sick on realistic cars etc
maybe, I dunno yet. I am making the 240sx hatch and not a coupe or the s14. --- Post updated --- Rfactor right? man I used to play that game every day when I was 14 and I had my t300rs.. im now 16 and ive moved onto asseto. Also yeah, I do plan on making multiple body kits for the car.
For the 2jz engine. The prasu has a full 2jz but its quite low poly for today's standard. (understandably) If some day in the future i update the model (which i want to but its very time consuming) id love to make it available to people who wants to make engine swaps. But as of right now its the low poly one. If you wanna use it go ahead. The car looks freakin amazing tho. keep up the great work! In a way i dont know if its a good idea to swap it with the low poly cuz im afraid it would maybe look ugly. But at the same time, low poly 2jz is better then no 2jz ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thanks for the offer but I would rather model a 1jz from scratch like I did with this sr20 (the Sr isn't done yet lol, still have to model and texture over 20 more things..I have to texture 35 different materials. I've done about 10 so far. I can model a 2jz valve cover and the other small bits to represent a 2jz...obviously the power chart etc will be different. Anyway thanks for the offer .
Rfactor still Tops AC in my eyes due to RF has much more customization opitions down to the tinny details, to engine power and all the upgrades, and full tune-ability, and it's a killer sim, the only thing that makes people change to AC is the graphics, but give it RF2 graphics, it'l kick AC ass all day. Played it since i was 14, i'm nearly 20 now lol
everyone did, back in the early game versions... mostly because only people who bought the game could install official mods
