So my new little small weekend project. RPS13. (imported from here) Plans Making the stock car Body part alternatives including widebody panels, rocket bunny panels, origin lab bodykits, sileighty front end, s13.5 front end Engines such as SR20DET and RB25DET Progress Outer shell: 60% Frame: 90% Exterior details and trim: 10% Engines: 0% Suspension: 30% Interior: 10% Jbeam: 10% Disclaimer This project is based of an RPS13. However, since I do not own one these cars and since I'm not a professional car modeler, I can only make it as accurate as the reference pictures I can find allows me to make it. This will not be a fully authentic car. I have absolutely no idea how to go about getting this car into BeamNG but that's something to figure out later along the road! - - - Updated - - - (imported from here) Update - - - Updated - - - (imported from here) More update
no ka24de? Nice to see a 240sx being made. They're cool cars so I hope you don't give up like a lot of people do.
Yes please dont give up! this car is a must have for me! Make sure you make all of the body parts seperate. Doors/hood/bumpers/etc.' I want this car so bad its not even funny! Also very good job on the model! For not using blueprints it looks pretty accurate.
I am using blueprints, so it should be pretty accurate And yes, the plan is to make all the parts separate
Looking good! I still think you should also finish your IS and S15 but this will do Nice to see you have big plans on body kits and the rb25det as well. I'm looking forward to see this finished, would be a nice addition to the game.
Yea, but step one is to make the basic car. This car should be easier to make than an IS and S15 (imported from here) - - - Updated - - - (imported from here) Just a quick coloring test Will look better with some edge splitting let alone more detail.
It looks really good. I don't think you can finish it yet though since according to wikipedia it has McPherson struts at the front...
Yea, I was thinking about that, actually wondering if it was possible. But I can just have an invisible upper wishbone (or something like that) - - - Updated - - - Carefully beginning with the door frames
It's got a similar resolution as the Grand Marshall. Although I will have to add some loops in on the doors later so they can deform properly (imported from here)
If I could recommend one thing, add more detail to the door jam meshes. It'll look a lot nicer in game.
Yea, I'm sort of keeping all detail basic at the moment. But I will definitely make things more detailed once I got the basic geometry of everything out. (imported from here) Started on the floors as well as the engine bay - - - Updated - - - More engine bay done. - - - Updated - - - Yes, I hope so too If I can't drift properly it, it's not good enough. - - - Updated - - - Basic dashboard shape
Well, progress is quite quick so far, considering I started with this late yesterday. (imported from here) Some tail lights put in place. You can also see a picture without backfaces in the top right.
P3rtan, you are doing an awesome job with this project! Thank you for keeping us updated with these delicious updates! Making some quick progress with it too. How much experience do you have with the software your using? Seem to be quite skilled!
