New mod repository :)

something that really bugs me is having to type in the search term completly and press enter instead of it filtering down letter by letter. like when i type something wrong it just shows nothing and idk how to spell it

 

Yeah that bugs me too. When I search up for example like "Nissan" or smthn like that, it gives me the same problem and it doesn't show any forum threads that have the Nissan, only letter by letter (there are some Nissan mod threads I spotted but only 3 for some reason compared to more I'm pretty sure is there). I hope the search filter gets fixed at some point :/

if this repository replaces the in-game repository and the forums repository, where are we going to get our mods from?

 

@tdev i think (if you haven't done this already) you should have links to the forums and the IRL item shop page, also stuff like a link to how to make mods, how to install mods, and other miscellaneous junk like that

 

But that would require updating the documentation, which they never do

 

They do every update, though it could use work.

Maybe a search history or being able to choose the maximum and minimum dates of the mod modifications?

 

Talking about mod manager not the actual repository but I think they go together:

It would be insanely efficient if the scroll bar didn't reset to the top every time you disable/enable one of your mods so you don't have to scroll all the way down to where you were before

It seems like a huge improvement to me and I hope it's not that much of a hassle to make

 

It would be also interesting to be able to delete several mods at the same time by selecting them

 

Or if not that then at least not be sent to the top of the mod list every time you uninstall one.

 

It would be cool if there was a filter called DEMO and it only has DEMO versions

 

i think it would never be reallty because there only are few demos

 

There will be more though, paid mods are growing in numbers

 

Official paid mod integration would be pretty neat too.

 

I would greatly appreciate the ability to view the top rated/downloaded mods of the past day/x weeks/x months/x years for any specified category (vehicles/maps/etc).

I find I sorely miss this reddit-style option on almost every game's mod repository.

Its exceptionally valuable for those with limited time who only play or update mods ~once a month.

Currently, I have to trawl through all every mod released since I last visited, in chronological order, to ensure I don't miss anything.

With a time-limitable top rated/downloaded sort, however, I'd have all the best mods released since I last visited at my fingertips. When the quality noticeably decreases as I scroll down, I know there won't be any unmissable mods buried below.

If the ability to specify x number of weeks/months/years is too expensive for server costs (hopefully shouldn't be), even just a top of last week/month/year like reddit would be a big help.
