NVM, the MDX is smaller. Not sure if his family would be fine with a mid-size luxury crossover like the MDX though.
Yeah, I get it, but the MDX is more of a luxury SUV than the Expedition (except for it's Lincoln counterpart, but that's also a full-sizer). Though the 2nd gen is a pretty decent vehicle, and it's pretty cheap compared to the newer models.
