Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) I'd be way more than happy if you could make a version just with the DoF and the color changer thing (don't know what to call it) Maybe other people will benefit from a less FPS heavy version aswell, since I'm probably not the only one on here with a card in this performance range.
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) I just create a backup , but I changed my mind , I turned the backup one into the custom one and i stuffed the custom one into a folder called beamng custom so that I have 2 versions .
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) I asked him to do only a DoF version and he did a great job. You can see it in the first post and try for yourself.
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) I've been messing around with alot of different types and settings for DoF and they all seem to kill my fps the same if not more than the version I released, so making a performance version WITH DoF would be pretty tricky.
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) :/ Well, I guess there's not much you can do then. Thanks for trying though.
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) I dont understand what to do... First, where do i exactly have to install it? /steam/common/beamng or /steam/common/beamng/bin64 What files do i have to rename? Do i really have to? Where do i find how the game is running by directx or opengl? I´m really clueless
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) The game uses direct x 9 that's why you have to rename the reshade.dll file to d3d9.dll which stands for direct3D 9 Secondly you install it into the bin folder NOT common/beamng Third, you take the reshade32.dll and put it in bin32 IF YOU SYSTEM USES A 32BIT OPERATING SYSTEM. If you have a 64 bit operating system you take the reshade64 and put it into bin64 once you have that file where it needs to be rename it to D3D9.dll that does NOT add the effects until you install master effect into the same directory as you did with the reshade.dll. I hope this helps
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) Thanks. It does work, the readme was just confusing to me.
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) I don't know where to find bin64. I install things to C:\Users\Owner\Documents\BeamNG.drive in whatever folder they need to be put into.
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) It's the game's actual install folder; <where ever you have installed steam> Steam\SteamApps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64 for example: D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64 or C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\BeamNG.drive\Bin64
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) You do not install to documents, if you're using the steam version the default should be C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\beamng\bin64 EDIT I guess I'm a little late on the reply :\
Re: Reshade Master Effect (Graphics Enhancer) And if your not using the steam version than you should be made of stone.
My Installation method for Realism 3.0: 1. Download the reshade.zip folder from here: http://www.beamng.com/attachment.php...6&d=1434838294 2. Copy either reshade32.dll or reshade64.dll (depending on what your system uses) and paste it into beamng.drive\bin64 OR beamng.drive\bin32 (depending on what your system uses) 3. Rename that reshade.dll file to D3D11.dll 4. Download the MasterEffect.zip from here: http://www.beamng.com/attachment.php...8&d=1434839642 5. Navigate through the folders until you see 2 files and one folder. The folder name should be MasterEffect and the other 2 files should be named MasterEffect.h and Reshade.fx copy those 2 files and 1 folder into the same place where you copied the reshade.dll file 6. Download the REALISM CONFIGS CausticCats.zip from here: http://www.beamng.com/attachment.php...5&d=1435085736 7. Copy REALISM V3.0 MasterEffect.h from .zip into the same place where you copied the reshade.dll file and rename it to MasterEffect.h.
When I launch the game i've got "..../BeamNG.drive/ReShade.fx(346, 32) : error X3004 undeclared identifier 'fBordercolor' Can someone help?
