    God I love this track. I suppose hoping someone would add some of the roads leading to the nordschleife is just wishful thinking? Imagine having to drive to the ring and then joining in for a tourist session.

    Nice parking lot video intro. How to you make the trees appear like that? Looks rendered differently or something.

    Yeah having the Eifel region freeroam roads (like future Assetto Corsa EVO) would be awesome and very BeamNG-like.
    I also really would like two things:

    • Fix the little glitch that shows a little line on the tires just 3 cm above the asphalt (almost everywhere)
    • Switch the trees near the track for Vanilla BeamNG 3D ones

    Talking about the trees I was wondering how to approach something like that. Since the terrain is not a grayscale TIFF but probably just one singe DAE I guess you can't place BeamNG trees onto it using Terrain Editor, it first would have to be converted into a 16-Bit Grayscale TIFF, right?

    Please someone correct me if I'm wrong about this. I've been looking through the files and haven't found the terrain DAE yet.

    I used the world editor to bump up the sky brightness, then I messed with the bloom threshold through photomode. I wanted to get an overexposed overcast look. I suspect that's what's causing the trees to look a bit more grounded.

    As for the trees, yeah that would really improve the feeling of barreling through foxhole. The track really needs to live up to the 'Green Hell' nickname. I do wonder though if the devs would ever be interested in creating a version of the Nordschleife, Spa and a bunch of other tracks officially? Like a proper modern laserscanned implementation, with tourist day AI to go along with it. It's my dream to see that in BeamNG.

    Yeah I have thought about that. The Beamschleife – Laserscanned track surface but everything 100% BeamNG Lore. Vanilla vehicles parked everywhere.

    About original tracks with all the logos and licencing … guess it's very improbable that our Devs would get into all that mess. That would have to come from a very capable modder or mod group.

    I still enjoy this & use it as a go-to for bew vehicle testing all the time. I didn't know the layout of the circuit before but quickly learnt it after getting the mod. Brilliant work, keep it going.

    Less thin-looking trees wouldn't go amiss.

    Sometimes, after updates, time trials return. I got them after some updates. Anyone else? I should probably go to Pike Peak and check; time trials sometimes return there too. It's a shame, of course, that the old time trials are broken and don't remember lap times.

    Not that I know of

    Someone had a night version, but I haven't seen a rainy version yet.

    I don't know if this mod supports this mod but there is a mod that adds rain to maps and even some mods like a german autobahnn mod, the mod is called "MK's dynamic weather mod"
