You can relocate My Documents with Windows itself. Mine is on my D: drive and all the BeamNG stuff automatically goes there. See this tutorial: http://www.techsupportalert.com/con...rsonal-folders-my-documents-another-drive.htm

My Documents is now just called Documents in Windows 7, but my My Documents folder goes back all the way to when I was using XP, so it's still called My Documents and lives on my D: drive.

Maps will work. Create a folder called "levels" inside Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods\ and you can put levels in there (the folder, not the .zip).

I'm still using the /BeamNG.drive/vehicles/ folder and everything I put in there works perfect, no zip files or documents crap.

Me too. I tried the "official" recommendation and use it just to maintain conformity. Putting mod levels in the mod folder made the level selector panes
    look proper.

I think that you'd have to change the directory from wich BeamNG reads the mods for that.

Not working for me, it just gives blank loading page.
After messing up with folders mods levels and stuff for 15mins... only thing worked was having the map on the map list... but that`s all. When loading just blank.

It worked fine for me. I only get the blank screen 1/15 times when starting a map, but not all the time.

    Ok here's my problem.

    1. Opened steam to play garrys mod and noticed that beamNG was downloading an update.
    2. After calming down and gaining control of my boner I decided to wait for the update instead of playing garrys mod as I have not tried any of the experimental builds. So I was was very keen to try out the new stable build and see the progress for myself.
    3. launched beam and had a quick play.
    4. decided to try and put my custom maps that I made into the new version, I went to steamapps/common/beamNG.drive/levels but only the folders within my maps are there, no files in them at all.
    5. very pissed that months of hard work are gone.

where have the files gone? I have not played beamNG for quite a few months so have I forgotten the real location to where the maps were installed in the old stable version?

Sorry if I'm being retarded, but I'm a little freaked out right now at the thought of all my work being lost forever. :(

    Life saver, Thanks!

I was about to cry. This new file system is going to test me, that's for sure.

    Thanks once again. :)

Going through all the work of making a map these days is becoming very dicey. As of 0.3.7.7 I'm very hesitant to do anything what so ever.

On the bright side I'm real good at speed map making.:p The realization that a change down the road could render all current maps obsolete
is heart breaking but a reality none the less.
