The picture looks like a 1985 Ford Mustang SVO. But he front end of the 3d model doesn't really look like a Fox body Mustang to me.

Are you accusing me of stealing or something? I modeled that with blueprints without a tutorial because I know how to model in 3DSMax. I also did this. you understand why its good to be suspicious of ford mustangs, though. everyone who's ever made one for RoR has simply followed that tutorial.
That's like being suspicious of a beginners website because they used an HTML tutorial, or being suspicious of someone doing home repair because they followed a tutorial. A tutorial is meant to learn , and is not stealing . No reason to be suspicious. I already knew how to model when I started the Mustang, and my other cars in 3DSMax, I also did the Freightliner FS65 (still may finish the model).
I think I may have time this fall to sit back and figure all this out.. I'll keep this thread in mind. : ) It seems more like a waste of time to be so. It's a mustang. You can probably find a model of most trims throughout all gens.
Oh, its not the stealing I'm worried about. I just don't like people passing off other's work as their own . People following tuts and going "this is original to me" isn't great. You must understand that, sorry if I've put you in an odd spot.
They followed a tutorial and (assumingly) did all the work themselves... but can't call it theirs? Or is the problem that it's not "original"?
in the photoshop thread there was a Grand Marshal Estate/Wagon variant. maan i so want that to be a reality.
