Been enjoying this one a lot recently. Its a bit of a genre bender, of course mixing drum and bass elements with (indie?) rock isn't a new or original thing (and Fox Stevenson is well known for this style), but its been a while since it was last "in style", so I haven't seen so many songs of this style published in the circles that I frequent. CONTENT WARNING: Explicit Lyrics I can't quite decide what I think the meaning of the lyrics are. My best guess is that it is somewhat fetish related, but perhaps I am reading into it wrongly. It could be about abusive relationships, but the lyrics seem too upbeat for that. It doesn't specifically state that it was his "honey" who caused it though, so perhaps its just about the thrill of a fight? So yeah, can't figure it out (as if there ever is a 'true' conclusion on matters like these, unless the artist chimes in). EDIT: Just had an epithiny while laying in bed, I think it must be about self harm, it makes far too much sense in that context.
WARNING: a big Scream at 2:07 Scarlxrd is that type of guy where you cant define in which genre he is. Is it a little bit of Trap music or Loud metal beats like this one or Hell is xn earth or Loud Trap beats like Fxur AM and HEART ATTACK
IDKW, but I think this song sounds like it could be part of a music album for Windows 95 - 98. Probably because it puts me in mind of the 90's.
Ironic how the song is called "Alice", but the song is actually based off a different Alice (the one from Go Ask Alice).
I have a small collection of Cassette tapes, but the only place I can play them is in our project Ram Van camper, does anybody know anywhere to buy a Cassette player? I have the following tapes if you are wondering Meatloaf - Bat Out Of Hell. Willie Nelson - Always On My Mind. Willie Nelson - CBS Select His Very Best. Random tape I found in a scrapped Ranger but this guy had taste seems as the first song on it is Smoking In The Boys Room by Brownsville Station.
Here's one of my misheard lyrics: Spoiler: Varials - Empire of Dirt Misheard Lyric: Misery, date me! Actual Lyric: Misery, take me!
Here's another one: Spoiler: A Day To Remember - Dead & Buried Misheard Lyric: Ted and Perry! Actual Lyric: Dead and buried!
Gotta love how changing a song's instruments from the normal guitar, bass, and drums to more classical instruments can dramatically change a song's entire feeling and atmosphere: How You Remind Me - Generic semi-hard rock song String Quartet Version - If Game of Thrones was in a happier universe, this would be the intro music. In My Head - Hard rock song with a heavy bass emphasis String Version - A end-of-a-war song Go with the Flow - Fast paced metal music with a slight western twinge. String Quartet - Battle music straight out of Lord of the Rings Do I Wanna Know? - Some really good indie rock with heavy blues rock influence. String Version - Pure Game of Thrones music. Savior - Some classic punk rock music. Frantic, fast paced, almost creates a panicking atmosphere. String Cover - An almost tragic-epic theme.
Jonathan Davis IMHO is a pretty good vocalist. He also has his own personal band (his other band is Korn).
Mmmhmmm, sorry, what did you say? I was, errrr, listening this This has kinda Irish feel: With single type of instrument, how they can capture essence of the song, yet being so different. Epica did once some songs that are hybrid of orchestral choir music and metal, but quality on youtube is really poor with these songs, none other song gets so badly destroyed in versions youtube has of it, when I listen my high quality versions, there is like twice the resolution in the sound, totally different, but maybe it gives an idea how well such hybrid can work: So essentially, that takes both musical worlds and blends it together, you have that gentle sensitive side at same time with brutal and raw side, which is like sweet and sour. Buy high quality versions of that, have good headphones and there is eargasm Ok, if high pitched string or opera does not work, then it might not work so well. Ah I should be sleeping already, but as I was somehow distracted here.

One of the best Moonlight sonata versions: They do have other good songs too, just not seeing / hearing much about them anywhere.
