No doubting her skills, I just don't enjoy her music. I think violins can sometimes have a similar on me as bagpipes, where whenever I hear them, I feel an urge to get away from them. Unlike bagpipes though, I am absolutely fine with violins providing they don't dominate the mix. In short periods they can be lovely, or as a background element. But that is just me. The first video had some neat moments though. But I'm not sure if that's just because there are some covers of songs that I like in there.
When younger, I could not understand people listening black metal and certainly could not tolerate screeching sound of bagpipes, but today nails on chalkboard sounds very interesting which I could listen whole day, erhu being one of my favorite instruments to listen these days and that is kinda far beyond bag pipes and violin It is really a lot what taste can change with age, even one does not even realize his taste has changed, I guess that is just how it works
I love this version of this song. A band that's fairly local to me. Another one same group "hayseed dixie"
Our music teacher tried to make us sing along to this one, back in grade 7 or something. It was only one lesson tho, whereas this was her favorite song and she made us sing it like every lesson: *starts having middle school flashbacks*
This game has the best game soundtrack ever in my opinion. Some of my favorites: And of course, GTA themes. My favorites are SA, LCS and IV.
Wow, I love Lindsey Stirling! Been following her for some years now, she's amazing. Here in Brazil, they play Crystallize and Roundtable Rival before the Stock Car races start.
Is there anyone who has heard of Ice Nine Kills? I discovered them a few months ago, and I have been listening to them more than when I first played their music. In terms of a metal band, they're pretty good lyrically, instrumentally, and quality-wise. I'll list a few songs from them, if you want to take a listen to their songs: (The music videos are pretty decent as well BTW)
I had not heard, I did test a few, but kinda did not hit the spot. Perhaps issue was that I don't think that you can better a real vampire in vampirism: Their older stuff is quite different from newer and not all can be even linked: I think Iubileum Anno Dracula is one of their best album, but most are quite good, however that is perhaps sound coming more from the real roots instead of industrial production of later albums. There is quite good information about how band's music has evolved from black metal to what it is today: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theatres_des_Vampires
I didn't list Bloodbath & Beyond though (which is a song about vampires, but the song is based off classic literature, so it's probably based off some book about vampires).
Has anyone misheard lyrics before? What did you think the lyrics were at first, and what song? I have.
Trying to find the name of this song, any help would be appreciated https://www.instagram.com/p/BDLm6KMJZ5v/?taken-by=66deville
Sounds pretty modern (also sounds like a instrumental version of a hip hop song). Those are my clues so far.
