sometimes motion blur can cause fps to appear higher and makes the game smoother. and lots of you guys get many of conserns of that, having it an option to turn on and off would be a nice feature, plus it makes the game blend quite well. ^_^
They do have a version of it in the game, just is disabled because it is extremely buggy. (Found here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\gameengine.zip\core\scripts\client\postFx( Open it with notepad and change the false to true. It sorta works, but is buggy as hell.
yes, with their skills they could make it as good as the minecraft shader motion bur. motion blur gives it a realistic feeling
This is what the devs said over a year ago : "Motion blur high on our priority list right now, so fingers crossed we can improve the 'feel' of speed "
You still wonder why that is not part of the options/graphics menu? That postFX is the straight from Torque3D, and I suppose it's to be used with first-person-view games (where it would just blur the screen when you move the view quickly).
no minecraft as a reference, they make mods for motion blur. --- Post updated --- some video editing softwares allow you to add motion blur, and it looks amazing, it would be great to allow that to be an easy option for people who do crash montage because it gives it a good flow.
Mainly, if it was an option to turn the intensity of it up or down, making it less blurry when the camera is moved, at low rates, it makes it not so bad
