Modeling/Adding spoilers and other parts?

    How could I be able to model a spoiler for a car? I'm trying to make a stock car variant of the Moonhawk, and I need to know how to create parts for existing vehicles.

    Using a 3D modelling program (for making the visible part) and creating a jbeam file (for the deformation and physics).
