Absolutely love ripping in this thing, only issue, as mentioned is the front axles snapping real easily, making the car undrivable. Also when reversing into a wall a few times it does funny things to the rear wheels.
I want to repeat this - if your axles break, then try downloading the file I sent and let me know if this fixes anything.
Kajzer, are there plans to make the window surrounds from the front doors black to match the window line on the higher trims? As far as I can tell, they should be black on the JDM models from fairly low on the trim hierarchy. Like so (this is a 1998 Mirage J) Otherwise, great job! Its become by favourite vehicle to lap the Nurburgring in, and I can't wait to see what you add to it!
Good news! I replaced the file and it seems to have fixed the issue, the steering doesn't break anymore.
Yes, it works, the front axles can now withstand spirited driving and even some crashes too! Affirmative, fixed it for me too! The wheels acting funny when reversing into a wall a few times looks like this: It is as if the rear subframe collapses.
Okay, good to hear that the front suspension is fine again! I'm gonna look into the rear suspension now, I think it might be some issues with the limiters.
Hey, I Noticed that with wider tires the steering snaps after wiggling the wheels back and forth a few times
Hey. I was asked to describe a slight FFB issue in this thread, so here. At lower speeds (Up to about 15) I get little to no road feel with my FFB. Once I'm up to speed, the FFB is absolutely. I run a G923 so I doubt it's a hardware issue, but it could be something to do with my settings. I understand that beam has a system in that can be toggled to soften the FFB when stopped, to ease parking etc, so maybe the issue is that this soft setting lasts a little too long when it should only work when the car is stationary. Otherwise fantastic mod, I hope I described the issue for you a little better!
Dude you have killed it, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to drive my little beast again 20 odd years on. LOVE IT
