Im Very new to BeamNG and its website and i fell in love with this Mercedes when i downloaded it. the lights didn't work properly and the glass was orange and said no texture. i tried re downloading it many times does anyone know how to fix this? or is there a new update coming out? - - - Updated - - - im having the same problem i think it might have to do with renaming somthing i dont know
its because it has the same glass name as the grand marshall and the game goes herpy derp if you spawn GM and then this
You can't kill this car! This is what I did to it and I could still drive it. It used almost a quarter tank of gas in about ten to fifteen minutes of driving it too.
One way to get this mod (and other like this) to work correctly: Have the mod unpacked in Beamng/mods/vehicles folder. Zip the vehicles folder, while keeping the unpacked folder. That way game checks the zips for mods, but since the textures are referenced by their unpacked locations, those must also be present. Downside is that you waste more space, but at least it works
The mod still works almost perfectly here. The guy hasn't been on the forums since 2015 though, so don't expect an update
I Like It! Better Than Most Mods I Download! DRIVING-5/10 (handles nicely compared to most mods) CRASHING-7/10 (only problem is hood goes through windshield in hard crash) INTERIOR-8/10 (very very nice detailed interior! I love all the camera positions!) EXTERIOR DETAIL-5 (nice exterior detail, although could use more detailed sides and trim) Other comments, i LOVE how the node grabber and color selector work! Compared to other mods this is an AMAZING mod! I like how it has some different configurations! crashes nicely too! over all I give this a 8/10! Very good job!
Congarts, you just bumped a dead thread! However, to get it working, extract the zip, create another folder named "vehicles" then place the Benz_280E Folder in. after that, zip it up and it should work
