Well, last time I did one of these, it turned out that my 1.8 liter turboburger Pessima was a bit too slow to compete. So obviously I needed something bigger, something faster. So of course the logical choice was a turbocharged 8.9 liter bus. I picked the city trim, not realizing that it maxed out at 57mph, so the highway kinda killed my time, but otherwise the bus is actually super nice to race! The brakes and steering are surprisingly good. The only real issue were all the hairpin turns, but that wasn't too bad after a few tries.
First try: 3.17.848 I think I pushed the car to it's limits CAR SPECS - Performance 3.0L I6 Turbo Diesel Engine [385hp - 745Nm] - 8-Speed DualClutch Gearbox AWD - Race suspension - Race brakes but sport pads - OEM Wheels with slick tyres - Stripped interior MODS WAS USED, WAITING APPROVAL AT THE REPO
I got a new score again, no point making a new post so I just edit my old one (・ ▽ ・ ) eSBR4 800! This time, I got a 3:48.806. I mainly used Sport ESC due to the dirt section. Otherwise, probably one of the fastest times I will get without resorting to controller.
3:35.400 - Done it with a modified 80's Ibishu Pessima GTz with ABS, Stage 2 turbocharger. Could've been done better with a better time.
4:47.010 Set with a wrecked '88 Pessima V6 Custom (Sequential) I would like to clarify that this was done with a keyboard, 3 crashes, and a broken wheel axle. (And no, I didn't crash into the median at the end)
I wanted something that has 3 wheels, is slow and drives like trash.. That's why I chose the Street Cleaning Pigeon! Not the best lap tbh.
I gave the rally Pessima coupe a spin, it wasn't as fast as I had hoped. I imagine I could get it a bit faster though. And @Re:Z_IA, I raise your 8.9 Liter TCM with my 9.4 Liter J940. I can't actually get much more out of a stock Wentward, interestingly the limiting factor seems to be the brakes. On such a hot and long stage, they're well cooked if I have more than 350 HP.
I though about entering with King Snake, but then I changed my mind and chose much more better choice, H-Series Ambulance from vanilla game I hide steering wheel from game options as it was distracting me. Using T150 wheel set to 1080 degrees it was much more, ehm. 'sporty' solution to this stage, I might of lost tiny bit of time on one bridge, but nevertheless I believe my time is just fine in it's own series. Vehicle: Gavril H45 Ambulance (A) perfectly stock from vanilla game Time: 4:39.274
Nobody tried with a T series so I decided to make a "race" configuration with the vanilla parts and, why not take it to a time attack downhill event! Truck configuration: T65 Base Long chassis 2 Axle; Stock engine with NOS, 10 speed automatic transmission and the T600 Turbocharger; Removed all the glass and the steps to reduce weight; Installed race brake pads both for the front and the rear; I did the offroad piece a bit slower because the truck wanted to slide everywhere.
Well, this was frustrating. After many, many attempts, this was the only full run I actually did. D15 Sport in automatic because I don't have the mental capacity to shift and drive at the same time. I'm a pretty awful racing driver. It probably didn't help that it was my first time around the course, hence very careful braking. 4:05.883, slotting me in at 14th.
