    Saw this thread again and got reminded to download Wuhu Loop because it looked interesting ;)

    Although... what is this??? This is poorly optimised, it's making my laptop run at 10 fps everytime I pass the fountain. It doesn't lag that heavily even remotely anywhere else

    Ah, that's an old map. Those are 12 separate water planes to fill in the octagon lol you can just delete them, they do nothing important. When I remaster it I'll replace that with 1 mesh that looks like water, I didn't know just how performance heavy the water planes were. If there's any other spots on maps that make your game lag, let me know!

    I know it might be late, but you could do a invisible floor with a really tall grip level or something like that

    I have setup AI road for botcars to follow for Figure 8 course. Track itself can be found from first post of this thread, I have joobles_mkds_course.zip but I believe single track version named joobles_fig8.zip could also work with my AI addon.

    joobles_fig8_aipath.zip has the actual AI road, this one must be unzipped your userfolder so that files inside the zip will end up to levels\joobles_fig8\ path, easiest is to extract zip to your userfolder directly, paths should be then correct.

    joobles_fig8_airace.zip can be placed to mod folder normally without extracting, this will add AI race with 1 to 9 opponents, you can use provided race Pigeon or vehicle of your own choosing.
    Also time trial is added, I did set gold star so that I can sometimes get them, but at least for me it is challenging enough that getting gold star is somewhat rare, however your experience may be different.

    I am terribly sorry that I could not produce simple zip file that would be placed to mod folder, game apparently loads mods in somewhat random order and ai road did not get loaded inside the zip file, so this is only method that is likely to work, I apologize any inconvenience you may experience with this install method.

    If @Joobles wishes to integrate ai road to his map, he is free to do so, as at least then installation would not require any extra steps.

    Oh and challenge with Pigeon is the bumps and risk of flipping vehicle so that wheels are no longer pointing towards friction surface, quite interesting challenge. My personal best time is 36.116 seconds for standard Time Trial, but I am absolutely certain other players can go faster.

    -Update, I have added Moo Moo Meadows to this post-

    There is a potential bug in world editor decal roads which affects Moo Moo Meadows, decal roads sort of fall trough, but this seems to have no effect to actual bot car driving, they are still very slow as usual, but if you enable traffic, it may be possible that traffic cars will spawn inside the ground, so please do try to avoid spawning traffic vehicles, until world editor is fixed. AI race works normally though as well as time trial.

    As usual Joobles may integrate these to his maps if he so wishes, also anyone can improve and alter these simple addons I have created. Hopefully some day I learn how to create ai path addon which does not require extracting, but as far as I am currently aware, it might not be currently possible or then I just simply lack skills, which always is high in probability.

    Also this is not a bump, this is an addon, or maybe it is a bump, but hopefully appreciated one.

    It's nice to see this is still being worked on to some extent. I wonder if that Animal Crossing map is still being worked on. Also, 0.33 may have broke some of these maps.

    Really sorry there's been silence on this. With a past game update, 0.33 I think it was, I lost a solid chunk of progress via a corrupted data migration, including 8's Mario Circuit. luckily the hardest part, the materials, got saved via an accidental backup I made a few days prior. I lost the level itself though.

    Also, BeamNG has removed the internal persistantID system, which the gravity path script relied on in order to tell which paths were where in the series. So, finding a way around that will also delay stuff more. I'll try to compile whatever I have done enough to release before the end of March, since this project has been basically dead for far too long.

    Due to the new forum limits on images and file uploads, and since the current method of downloading this stuff really sucks tbh, I might set up a Google Drive for it all. If anyone has any other ideas on hosting all these files in a clean, organized way, feel free to let me know.

    If anyone where to recreate the powerup box model and effect models (eg the banana etc) then we could totally replicate the powerups from mario kart.

    Ran it with the default set of my powerups mod just as a demonstration

    I grew up on Mario Kart: Double Dash, so having the refined MK8 versions to race around is awesome. I'm surprised and delighted by how fun Yoshi Circuit is!

    I can't imagine how much work goes into all this, and I'm SUPER grateful to you for sharing it with us. I'm sorry to hear about the data loss! That really stinks.

    I think a Google Drive option would be great for downloads. And I'm excited to see you're getting back into this!

    Yeah I mean, it predates the Wigeon and PBR lol. So, I guess when you look at it like that, the burnout makes a bit more sense haha. This year will be this project's 4th anniversary :eek:
