    I was having the same problem with nvidia driver 535.113.01. After updating to version 545.29.06 it started working fine.

    I was using proton, nevermind.

    Unfortunately, 0.31 is still having problems for me on AMD. I no longer crash when loading, which is an improvement, but there's geometry just randomly flashing everywhere. Perhaps this is what you mean by "Object rendering is broken"?

    PC: 5900x / 6900XT / 64GB RAM, Mesa 23.2.0 / LLVM 16.0.6 in Wayland

    If there's anything I can provide to help debug things, please let me know! I do plan on updating Mesa when I get a chance, perhaps that's part of my problem.

    running on mesa here and apparently sharers are broken, without shadows the game render's properly, and reflections cause it to crash and output this:

    I can replicate the same thing on a 5700XT with Mesa 23.2.1 and X11 so I doubt it's the Mesa version.

    I get the same geometry/rendering issue on my Nvidia GPU. It's a shame because the frame rate is super smooth & no more crash upon level loading!

    edit: it renders properly without shadows only on the small grid map any other its a flickering mess

    Same issue here, just random flashing stuff. On my steam deck, as well as on my PC with an nvidia GPU. This seems to only occur on linux, not windows with vulkan.

    Hello, the issue I have noticed for myself is that the maps are rendering horribly and objects are flashing around and constantly clipping in and out. I also cannot see the car I am driving. However, I don't have these issues in the small grid world, where everything looks and works fine. However, even when everything is looking weird, I can still drive and hear audio from the car, and I move around the map. Everything also flickers in the map view, and it shifts around. The photos other than the ones in the grid world are in East Coast USA.     Everything is okay on the 'Grid, Small, Pure' map with 'Shadows Visibility' set to 'None'.
