this is how much license plates i have saw since summer of this year (to today), some very high numbers are because i just saw so much i just put on that to not count each country for 1 hour
My count would also be a lot higher if my grandfather wouldn't have had a heart attack while driving his truck in October of this year...
just to ask, what truck did he drive? also besides that, yes many truck drivers die in their cabins/trucks, they spend 1/2 of their life behind the wheel and help people live a normal life. if all truck drivers suddenly stopped and left their work every store would become empty, everyone would be walking around with no new clothes, and almost everyone would die of starvation after 1 month. yet it is still one of the least respected jobs out of all.
For the most years he was driving an Actros, but when he crashed he was already driving smaller trucks (like an Iveco). For anyone interested, here's one of the news articles: https://www.op-online.de/region/unf...heraus-und-schleift-auto-mit-zr-92636870.html
Wow, that's not good. Also, "If you get a cardiac arrest while driving, it can be dangerous." Really?
i dont have any picture but on saturday i saw a truck from Kyrgyzstan and today i saw a truck from Kazakhstan. both on polish A4 between Breslau (PL) and german border and near Sinsheim (D) i saw 2 trucks from Morocco yesterday. im writing this from our truck so when i get home (saturday this week) i will show what i have brought from Sinsheim and overall this trip.
I also saw three new license plates recently: Kazakh truck on German Autobahn A5, German French Military Base license plate, rural road near Altheim (vacation) and while driving home with my bus today, I saw an old Belgian license plate on a really old VW. Sadly, I don't have pictures --- Post updated --- One of my uncles lived in Sinsheim until last year or so
i spent the weekend there, on the big truck parking lot near the Technik museum. i will show more soon on probably general discussion thread or other
im now going to Monachium through Czechia, and after Nurnberg and Frankfurt. if i spot any unique plates i will show when i come back EDIT: nevermind im actually going through just germany, we cant trough czechia. im hoping to spot a truck from serbia, moldova or from some west asian country (STAN countries and caucasus) on a parking lot to ask them for unique coins
map of from what countries i saw license plates from in this month because of a few countries, i needed to make the map abit bigger. no photos sorry, i just think it's rude to take someone's license plate on camera when they can see you. and some i didnt get to catch on cam because they passed by fast.
i don't have any picture because i didn't take my phone but today i saw an audi SUV (dont remember model name) with Texas license plates,in a small town in Dolnośląsk. it looked like an average car bought from an american used car service, had something written on the front windshield (probably price or something like that) and was abit damaged in the back. i first thought it was just a fake plate just for the front but it did not have any license plate in the back or behind the windshield, plus in poland no front license plate = you get fined. i was surprised when i saw it.
Possibly they bought it with a salvage title and got it shipped, unless you saw someone actually driving it on the road.
It's also possible that they might be soldiers at a US military base. I also saw a New Yorkan plate when I was near Ramstein last summer...
the Texas audi i was talking about (i took my phone this time and luckily the audi was still there) Opel Astra mk3 kombi from Moldova This VW had the EU symbol replaced by the american confederate flag,i thought it was cool so i took a picture. it has the same on the front plate. All spotted in my town
