New project truck - Rear wheel drive, no towing package, 4.5 auto. 1986 Gavril D-10

 

it kind of looks like mine truck before i modified it!

 

As close as i can get to my real 2000 Chevy k2500 crew cab short bed. It always throws people off when I tell them its a 2000 but the 90s body.

 

Yeah, your post gave me inspiration to do it. I've gotten quite a bit done on it, too. I've repainted it, made it 4x4, new suspension all around, roll bar, zeta front bull bar... I have yet to actually test it off-road though. I think in the future I'm gonna get it a bigger lift and bigger tires and a bigger engine. I'm thinking diesel with bed stacks? I don't know yet.

Got my old Gavril Bluebuck here.

 

This is my new default truck, pretty solid truck. It is a 1990 Gavril Pre-Aero D-15, actually powered by a Dodge 4.7 Magnum,4x4 Automatic sporting All-Terrain tires on Terra-XT wheels and a chrome diamond-plated Randolph toolbox and an intermediate tailgate(meaning it can fit all years of the D-series), and it has, of course, the sprayed-in bedliner. On the interior, it has front bucket seats with a console, an airbag steering wheel, and powered windows.

heres the new truck its a 5.5 v8 4.10 gears loaded with power windows buckest seats and SUPER RARE BLUE INSIDE

 

That's a nice truck, I like the color. The interior of mine was gonna be a classic 80's red but I wanted brown, the red didn't really appeal to me.

 

yeah i was really lucky to find a blue inside with a 5.5 v8 4.10 gearing and loaded inside too 1 rule for a d series is i have to get a 5.5 v8 the v6 and 4.5 are way too slow for me and bucket seats

 

So the config for my truck was deleted so I had to remake it and made minor changes. The fenders are now silver, the interior is red(I figured I'd get used to it soon), it now has a late steering wheel and front bucket seats, same console though, and it now has elec stability & traction control, rear wheel line lock, and anti-lock braking system, as well as adaptive power steering. Coming soon are air-assisted leaf springs(to make the truck more of a cruising truck).

Does anyone know how to fix this texture issue? Or is that just the way the mod is?

 

im looking online for buying a roamer, as my other project truck!

 

I have that Roamer/D-series truck but it doesn't really work so I used some of the good parts on another truck(which were only the bumper, mirrors, and seats).
