I did some Ram stuff today... The red extended '86 has the 318 Magnum V8, it packs some power. The silver... thing... has a 24V Cummins Turbo Diesel upgraded to it's maximum. It's pretty dang powerful. The second gen 1500 is just a good ole' second gen with the 5.9 Magnum V8. . (Updates on my default truck coming soon, sorry for being inactive for a while)
A little update on my truck - A little engine work to improve the performance. Bigger tires, little offset on the wheels, nothing crazy. Got the bull bar on it. Now I'm in need of giving it a new paint job... as much as I like the green it really needs an update. But I'm not sure of what colors to go with. I'm thinking either a red combination or something blue. Here's my options.
After about a week of work, I finally got this truck ready for the road. Its got some new body panels and some engine work done.
Also, here's an update currently. I sold the red bricknose (already) because I discovered the frame was cracked and bent a little, so I sold it to somebody else to fix it. The old toot rig blew up so I ran it over with my red truck. My dually has been my new daily since my black truck has no tow hitches. Red Duramax blew a brake line and I fixed it but haven't drove it for a few days. I also traded my white Duramax for this green 2000 Chevy 1500 with a 5.3 under the hood. Its a pretty clean truck and I am gonna keep this one for a while. I had an oil change done on the way home so its ready to rock. Its just a 2wd so its not very good at climbing but its good at offroading.
Scored a base model facelifted D15. Seems to have extra dealership options including a factory supercharger! 4.5L V8, 4 Speed Auto with 4.10 gears, and according to the previous owner "Added a Limited Slip Diff"
On the way home I picked up some new wheels and tires for the ol work rig. Nothing special just some all terrains. I'm ordering matching mirrors and maybe some bumpers.
I still have the bluebuck but should I try to fix this for a profit? The owner said its 500 bucks. It's a super rare swivel frame.
