To be honest, gotta ask, do people like cars even without an interior? I'm having a bloody nightmare trying to get an Interior right. Kinda trying to do my own thing at the current moment in time, but just need to know if you bother with interiors or not and so on so forth etc. etc.
The key with interiors is to not overdo the detail, most of the time a few seats, panels, and a dashboard will suffice so long as it can resemble a car interior
Make sure your using the 3D mode and unlock the camera placement so its in freeroam mode, lets you see inside better. With the lock to centre tool enabled the dashboard should automatically be centered with the car, then simply rotate it to a good angle and set it at an appropriate height. You can do the same for the seats and steering wheels. Interior panels can be placed inside by using the 3D command, then switching back to 2D "should" allot them to meld nicely with the interior walls. Hope this helps
Last time I put t'dashboard in, it stuck out the front of the car through the bonnet/hood and it didn't autofix itself annoyingly.
Hey so sorry for disappearing again with nothing really to show for it but tbh I have no idea what to build at the moment. If you have any ideas I'd love to hear. But hey in better news I have been taking part in Automotiveflux's current showcase for Group A cars. While it was only possible to submit one car I had build 3 different ones. So instead of letting them go without ever letting you glorious people drive them I am going to publish the file with all three cars here. This file contains two versions of the RoxT-W one a lightly modified version of the F2, with a turbo and other modifications to fit the rules. The other RoxT is on completely different suspension to the base car with AWD and a modified version of highly modified Reliant i4. The third and last car is a replica of the Evo 8 sharing the same Reliant i4 and the AWD RoxT. They may not be the most perfect cars but they fit within the rules and do ok.
Hey thank you, while they may look on the simple side I can assure you that they definitely took most of the time I should have been using to tune the suspension.
I love these cars! I like how the muscle cars does a middle finger and have 10L plus V8 engines under the hood. I'll definitely try and download some of the cars!
Hey everyone sorry for the wait (has it really been that long?) I would love to say I've got a lot to show for it but well... I don't. I've attached the current 3 vehicles that are either done / am working on. in this list we have 2018 Monolith (based on the Morningstar) 1969 Zorro (inspired by the Pantera) 1997 unnamed sedan (similar to the RoxT) The main problem is what to do with original Monolith on the Repo, in my opinion the best option would be to make a second version and keep the original up for download as they are very different vehicles.
Greetings everyone, I'm sorry for such a wait since the last well anything, anyway I have soooo much to show for it. Very little has changed since the last teaser but I've added some small things. Here's the current line-up in the teaser, Monolith update (the 2018 version based on the Morningstar) Morningstar Drag version The 4 door sedan now named the Cat The newest addition to the teaser the Monitor, based loosely in the Corvette C2 The Zorro (based on the Pantera)
Hey Everyone, Sorry for the wait (again) but as an early Christmas present I'm releasing all the current Lazuli Motors projects that are in varied levels of completion from nearly 100% with a full interior and most of tuning completed to about 40% with the interior missing entirely. Picture one includes, Drag Morningstar (Back Left) Armoured Monolith (2018 Remaster) (Back Right) Monitor (Front Left) Zorro (Front Middle) L1 Concept (Front Right) Picture two includes Monolith (2018 Remaster) (Back) Cat (Middle) Topaz (Front) Please enjoy the cars, download any or all of whatever you want and any thoughts on them would be appreciated.
Hey look it Io 50 days after my last message... This totally isn't a thing that always happens. Anyway lets introduce you to the Lazuli Motors RoxT-WE a 1.5L i4 with twin charging. this isn't a finished model and it shows on the interior. Anyway its a twin charged 4 cylinder with 1.5 litres of displacement making 200hp. It's FWD and has a dual clutch transmission.
Hey everyone, it's the guy who's not dead (on the outside anyway) guess what I've got for you, Yeah that's right another imperfect addition to the Lazuli Motors line-up, this being the 1982 Excellence Turbo, the highest performance road going version of the 1982 version of the Excellence sedan powered by a 400hp turbo i6 powering the rear wheels. This version is very close to being finished with a need to polish the interior slightly. Other versions of the car will be produced, but I'm not 100% sure what these will be.
there is a fun version of the car you can make, i wont spoil it but you bet your buns i'll build it for you!!!
So I've been hard at work and to prove it here's the most up to date version of the Excellence, including a base model now too. Enjoy!
Hey everyone, I've given up on coming up with extra trims on the Excellence, so included is the two trims I've done, having the turbo and the base version. I will continue to work on it for now but this is most likely the finished result.
Version 1.1 of the Excellence has been sent for approval, until then have this version, Version 1.1 adds an animated gear stick and handbrake. If you have any ideas for more versions of the car just request it.
