what? No, wtf, that's now how you install a mod, there's literally a folder in the documents called beamng.drive and inside there's a folder called mods
But ur way is just extremely impractical, also, it can be seen as an error by steam if you some day need to verify the files, losing the mods and the folder
no. put it in documents\beamng.drive\mods\ if you put them in the steam folder, they aren't detected as mods, so you can't deactivate them, among other features.
Dude delete this immidiately, if this is a joke then you have no idea how many people can actually fall for this, and if it's not a joke and you are actually installing mods like this then perform a clean reinstall of the game immidiately because I'm sure this has broken A LOT in your game without you noticing And if you mind telling who are the people who "explained" this to you? Because that's pretty much how you install some Russian trojans that pretend to be mods
It was explained to me a long time ago, I did delete the picture cause I wasn't trying to joke about it, I seriously thought that was the legit way but I will say thank you for correcting me. I am sorry for not knowing, and will now pass on the correct method as explained by FordKing and CaptainZoll. Again thank you, and I am sorry.
Totally agree. I'm honestly shocked this is the only legitimate public Stock Car mod with a proper chassis, cockpit, engine ect. This mod now honestly in my book is pretty outdated compared to some of the newer mods released today. The chassis and body deformation on this car are pretty unrealistic when compared to a real late model.
You download the car in the first page, and go to your documents folder, there should be a folder called "Beamng.Drive" and inside of it there's the mod folder, just place the RAR in mods folder and done!
