Released Late Model Stock Car (LMSC) (2020 Updated)

No. This is a late model, not a cup car. Late models never go 180-200, they're built to race on short tracks.

 

How do I download it the zip file isn't working

 

This is a great mod and I've always wanted a Nascar like race car for BeamNG.

Download the Zip file and then put it in your 'mods folder for beamng

 

It can be glitchy when you crash at high speeds.


Also, It seems a bit slow for an all-out racecar.

Other than that, a GREAT mod!

Yeah, when you crash the cars at high speeds it's like you have entered the mod heaven of glitches. But other than that, loving it 11/10

 

That screenshot cracks me up 3very time I look at it haha

 

Sadly the part that breaks is the wheels and I have no idea how to tune wheels/tires.

 

When the wheels glitch out and spike like that, it reminds me of WhyBeAre's Lamborghini Adventador mod

Unlike quite a few people, I think that this car has plenty of power for what it is, and that it is an amazing chase car.

Up to around 100 miles an hour, I can keep up just fine drag-racing the LMSC against the AI in an SBR4 AWD TT S around VR City.

Admittedly, when I over-rev it too much (which is rather easy to do), it loses so much power that it can be left behind in the straights by a LeGran Sport.

However, its major benefit is its incredible strength, handling, and braking. It's one of the toughest fast cars in BeamNG.drive right now, if not the toughest, making it great for VR City's rough inclines....

...and for taking down that troublesome D15 Custom quickly without getting any damage from it.

Combined with its amazing handling and top-level braking performance, it's absolutely the perfect chase car for most situations. Of course, it's never going to keep up with a top-level SBR4, a drag car, or an FR16/FR17, but it will keep up with just about everything else and out-last just about everything else, as well.

It's also the best small car that I've come across for taking down the T-Series/Cabster, its low nose allowing it to scoop up the flatbed/cargo box variants and quickly toss them into the nearest bit of scenery.

Overall, the LMSC is a fantastic vehicle for both racing and chasing, and I seriously recommend this to anyone who wants a car that can do a bit of both. Sure, it's not going to be the all-out greatest car in the world, but it's quick enough for racing and strong enough for chasing, and very well-made at the same time.

 

Turn up the fuel ratio, gets a little bit faster. also, press T. makes it go super fast, and blows the engine

 

A cup car engine would be cool, y'know, just for fun

 

It's not hard to add one yourself, as well as supporting items like a better radiator

 

Well, for starters, I have zero idea how to mod.

 

Everyone has to start somewhere, a good way to start is to dig into other mods and see how they work

 

I also don't know what program to use to mod performance of vehicles
