Experimental KissMP - new multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive

Wanted to have some fun on KissMP but for whatever reason it just doesn't want to work for me even though I follow the instructions to the T; correct KissMP version, installed in the correct place, starting it the correct way yet I see nothing new in the main menu of the game

 

Is the mod in the mods folder?

 

I initially didn't realize that the .zip you have to place in Mods is not the one you download, but the one inside it... You're probably not as stupid as I am and got it right, but just a possibility

 

Yeah this file needs to be in the mods folder

These two need to be just anywhere on your computer

Make sure to launch the bridge before starting the game and enable the KISSMultiplayer mod within BeamNG

If it still doesn't work, perhaps you may need to redownload the latest version of KISSMP?

 

I have the .exe in the same folder as the .zip just for the sake of keeping it all in one place yet still nothing happens when I launch the bridge & the game

 

Does the mod show up in the beamng mod manager?

 

so what happened to me is i run beamng in fullscreen mode. Sometimes the server window would run behind the beamng window, so if i went to windowed it was right behind it

 

I'm running BeamNG in borderless mode & even then, I see no server list

 

Do you have Torsions Spaced Out mod? This mod doesn't work anymore and prevents KissMP from initializing properly.

The only Torsion mod I have is the giant chain, nothing else

 

do you have beammp installed? they conflict.

The one your server uses.

 

That would be the port. You can specify a different one if you need to. That's the config file

Something weird happened while i was using kissmp - i was able to use the mods on my pc, even though i was on a public server that does not have those mods. Is it just me, or has that happened to multiple people?

 

usually if you disable a mod and then enable it, it shows in your vehicle selector. When you drive it, no one can see it, its just your name floating around the map
