    Good idea! Here are some bugs / suggestions:
    • Are you checking when you generate a random vehicle that it does not ~= or == (whichever is relavent here) the previous vehicle?
    • When I turn my headlights off after completing the scenario it doesn't seem to re-engage the random mechanic for my next restart.
    • Sometimes the car identification banner has trouble:
      • It doesn't show with a headlights-on reset, is this intentional?
      • Sometimes it doesn't show during a random-car reset.
      • Sometimes it flashes very briefly rather than for the normal length.
    • Have you considered adding the car-identification string to the completion message? I think that would be great.

    Can you lower the performance class to 3? Those cars are still fast enough to do some jumps, plus we can swap for other cars if we consider it to be too slow.

    Another bug, I think: The ETK 800 series seemed to frequently but inconsistently pop tires when spawned. Specifically the right rear tire.

    Overall I would say that the scenario is not much fun for me. I really enjoyed the stock scenario and pushed myself a lot when it first appeared. I pushed myself pretty hard for this scenario as well and I can achieve "Gold" times (<45s) with one vehicle and 45-50s times with a very few other vehicles. I strongly doubt that Gold/Platinum times are achievable most of the vehicles. IMO adding time goals to a scenario with randomly chosen vehicles is sort of incompatible. The time goals seem like they'd have been more pertinent for a scenario which provided only one car or at least only cars which could actually achieve the goals.

    I really like the "disable random when headlights are on" idea. I think it's very good. (see my notes in my previous post about one small issue)

    Getting hot times in this scenario doesn't change much (aim the car perfectly straight before the jump and then set it up for a flat landing). Some vehicles do very poorly, some vehicles are acceptable. For me the squirrely ones are not fun to wrestle with with an Xbox 360 controller - maybe they would be if I had my wheel but I doubt it.

    At the end of the day I think other scenarios might be better served with similar "random vehicles" treatments - I hope you keep adjusting the formula and I'll be keeping an eye out for more of these.

    I have no clue why the etk800 seems to pop tyres, as I haven't looked at how jbeam works. Can you please help me pinpoint why this is happening?

    Regarding the issue with random cars not being consistently fun, I'll probably need to make a scenario with specific official vehicles only. I'll keep working the formula!

    Unfortunately I too have a xb360 controller and a poorly one at that! Playing the scenario with a wheel is way more frustrating as you can't get to full lock as easily. Xb1 controller is the best for this scenario.

    I'm working on another random car scenario as it happens.

    I'm quite busy with a lot of stuff other that BeamNG ATM.

    I once had an issue where the vehicles kept spawning backwards (I had to reverse and turn to follow the course). Also had an issue where the same vehicle respawned after turning off the headlights. Reloading the scenario fixed it.

    Also how the hell can anybody reach the Platinum level? I barely got to 45s...

    Great scenario idea btw :D
