Does anyone know if the developers have plans of implementing true triple screen (with 3 cameras, each one rendering a monitor with an independent FOV) or is there a mod for it?
No mod, and probably not going to happen. If the devs knew how to add more cameras, we'd have local multiplayer.
I have tried running beam across a 3840x1080 setup and it didnt scale right it just felt a bit off about it so as far as I know, its best not to assume anything like this could be supported at the 5760x1080 resolution you are after
AMD graphics cards have a feature called Eyefinity, which enables scaling up to 6 monitors. I have tried this using 3 monitors some time back. It worked flawlessly.
It's more of a performance problem than how-to. The way the game render things is not optimal for multiple camera. You can have them, but there would be a pretty big performance loss. Dynamic Reflections are essentially that, and they render the game in a very different quality mode, which is way some objects with complex materials do not show up correctly (for example, other vehicles) As far as I know, we don't have plans to tackle this feature for the time being.
Sad to hear that. It's such a game-changing experience. I understand tho and thank you for clarifying.
